its a pretty cool park. been out there one time. I have another post on here title marble falls or something like that with a few pics. The trails are marked and rated, but they aren't always accurate. Some rated 3's were very easy, where as some, I wouldn't be able to run it. The park is huge and great scenery. It has trails for every type of jeep.
The only negative thing is the trail map is somewhat a challenge to navigate around, but exploring can be the fun part too.
I may be out there next saturday march 17, just need to have a few things worked on from now until then.
It was cold, windy, and some rain while we were out there the first time, not nearly as bad as what you guys dealt with. On this trip we had 75 degree weather and clear skies the whole day.
Yea it would be nice to have the top and doors off. And the gun range sounds good Im just not allowed to play with guns. But I'm planning on going again in may after my lift is put on if you guys want to go again. And this time renting out the cabin.
Cool check out another thread it says there's a annual jeep drive there for the wounded. So there should be alot of people there. I'm getting the cabin booked for that weekend.
I read the wheelers for wounded website and just think that is a neat idea! I thought at first it would be just a fundraiser type thing but how cool to actually get to take them and thier families out on the trails! So cool! Love the tropical/hawaiian theme too.

Yea I just called to reserve the cabin it's taken already by the event holders so I guess will be camping. The guy from the park said it's been a good turn out yr after yr and keeps getting bigger, and to expect to see about 200 other rigs out there. So I'm going for sure.
As long as my build is finished in time for me to be able to wheel my jeep and test everything Ill be down there that friday. Iv got a friend who has made the drive (about 5 or 6 hours for us) the last few years for the whellers 4 the wounded event and Iv allways thought it was a damned good idea. The plan is to get there early friday so we can do some wheeling and have some fun before the event.
Oh yea I plan on going Thursday to get there early Friday morning I live 3-1/2 hrs away so yea but will see for sure the weekend though I should have my lift installed in April the only thing I will lack will be tires
I can't make it with y'all May 4-6...riding in the MS150 but I will be going with some friends over Memorial Day weekend if anyone wants to join us... I would love to meet some other TX jeepers!
