Yes I am aiming for noon on Friday, but I am at the mercy of the dealer. On how fast they can work.

I will be making on NLT 2 with my jeep even if the dash is in pieces.

Hidden falls in marble falls will be perfect for you. They have trails for any type of jeep, and they are all rated so you know. I was out there recently with a friend who was in his 2012 jk 4 door, bone stock. He was able to do all the trails I was. Just have to take the right line.

I may be interested, but I'm new here, and I have a new Jeep after not owning one for about 8 years.

Is camping the only option? Don't laugh! I haven't had weekends off in years, until recently, so other than sleeping bags and some very basic stuff most of my gear has migrated elsewhere.

Can I assume that my 4 dr rubicon can handle most everything there, even though I can't?

Camping is the option, but local hotels in Marble Falls usually give a discount to off-roaders if you ask.

We took a stocker '12 JK out there when we bought our first Jeep, and although you cannot do everything there, you can do more than enough to have fun! There are bypasses along many of the trails, so if you get to an obstacle you can't make, just take the bypass and meet everyone on the other side.

New here. I'm a member of Military Jeepers. We're having a chapter run on the 19th, but I might just have to hook up with you guys for the other two days.

For all you with stock jeeps, don't worry. I've got a stock LJ and I was runnnig level 4/5 trails all day. The only problem I had was with ground clearance. There are very few areas that you'll need to avoid. Most experienced off roaders should be able to get a stock jeep through all but one or two trails at hidden falls..

They have hotels in marbles falls. For camping tent sleeping bag or sleep in the jeep since you have a 4dr. Also bring very warm clothing, as it looking we might have snow.

I took my stock Rubi with paper plates on some 5 trails. But i know what lines to take and know what parts of the jeep can take more damage than others. You should be fine on most things up to a 4 with very little issues.

We have some friends with a B&B fairly close to Marble Falls, so I may see if they have any availability.

She's not stock anymore (I'll have her back in a few days), but I will definitely be in sheet metal / underbody component preservation mode my first time wheeling her. I know...

Any going from Parker County or the Fort Worth area? Just looking to see if I go who I might convoy with on Friday. From where I am it's 20w for about 15 miles and then 287 the rest of the way until you hit marble falls. So it'll be an easy but boring trip.

Would love to go. Gotta see if I can find the time/money for it, though. And the confidence I won't mess somethin up. I'm still running completely stock and haven't done much off-roading. Might come up for a day or maybe all weekend. I'll see. I'm a maybe.

You should never go off-roading thinking you won't break something, because you will! It is just a matter of when. I have seen some of the most experienced guys with some of the best rigs fall prey to a hidden jagged edge, funky ruts, or a partially masked boulder on a night run. It happens. It is part of the fun, really! Especially when you get to upgrade said broken part!

Don't let inexperience stop you. There are so many people out there that will teach you how to pick a line, handle your Jeep, fix things, recover yourself and others, etc. It is a fun time, always. My favorite trail is Midnight Run... first trail I ever ran. Impossible not to love it!

You should go.

Now where is the fun in that?! Last time we camped out there we got evacuated in the middle of the night because of a tornado warning!

A midnight run would've cool. What do they charge for admittance fees and camping?
