The “small” pizza sounds really nice!
Will try to make it. Have to go to Fort Knox, Kentucky (keep asking for a sample gold bar, but they will not give me one) and Atlanta. Will try to make it back.
Have an extensive military background but rarely talk about it. Have also done much classified work to include Lockheed Skunk Works.
Have enjoyed talking to everyone and have learned such things like what brand of winch I am going to buy.
Overall the people of San Antonio have been the friendliest I have met. Much friendlier than El Paso or the other places I have been.
Still like Buffalo Wild Wings but I would be careful about charges.
I have a bad habit of not looking close at credit card charges. They are normally accurate and normally want to talk to the people I am with.
At the meet at BWW, just gave them my credit card. When they brought the receipt to sign, noticed it was for $30 + for 18 wings (12 for me and 6 for the dog) and one beer.
Asked the waitress about this, and she got the manager. They both said I had been overcharged and the waitress said she had mistakenly charged me a check cashing fee.
Manager said he had refunded that charge and the correct bill was $22. Paid that with my credit card.
On Monday checked my CC Statement and both charges were there. However, no refund. Thought it might take a little longer.
Last Friday still no refund so I called BWW. Was told I had to call corporate (210-403-3725). Talked to Amy Earl, x-206. She said she would investigate and I should also call Art Diddy, the local manager. Called local BWW and was told there was no such manager.
Amy also said a check cashing fee was odd since they do not cash checks.
Since then have been going around and around with Amy. Have done such things like get her all the info from the receipt.
BWW was suppose to refund my money this morning and call me. Did not hear from them so called Amy again. She said the Regional Manager had to approve the refund, she was waiting for him, and the local BWW was suppose to call me (have not).
Will probably dispute the charge later today.

Got a call back from the BWW Regional Manager. He said that they made a couple of errors, but it would take several weeks to correct it in their systems. On his recommendation, I disputed the first charge on my credit card.

Since this has taken up so much of my time, asked for a gift certificate. He said one would be mailed to me.

Have a great day.

Well Gents...I broke down and got a 2.5 lift...should have installed this week. I look forward to our 5 may meet and let yall check it out. I have a bunch of business cards for yall...I found a good 4X4 shop, i didnt know about it till last week. Yall may already be aware...Off Road Concepts. Did we ever settle on where we are going to meet? I would also like for all to consider Lupe Tortillas...Its on 281 north, lots of parking...Cold beer, and a nice outdoor patio.

Are they installing it? What kind of kit did you get. They quoted me 650$ for a Rough country 2.5 kit installed. But said they could get just about any brand I wanted.

Can't wait to see your lift I8up! I got my midnight series winch with synthetic rope installed last week! I got a 2' spacer kit, but haven't decided if I want to try to install it or hit up those 4wheel parts place? I am definitely down with Lupe's Tortillas, either or for that pizza place. YAY!! Vote time!!

Due to schedule change, will be in town on the 5th. Count me in.

Being an explorer, either is fine with me.

Internet search came up with parking problems at Big Lous. Also normally long waits, many times up to 2 hours.

Good food is good. Ample parking is good.

Lupe's Tortilla's
San Antonio
21103 US Highway 281 North
San Antonio, Texas 78258
210-446-5111

We might want to get a head count and book a room/large party reservation as our meet up for May falls directly on Cinco de Mayo.
