There is a place called Brazos Valley Recreational....its an offroad park near Waco. I have not been due to they are very limited on open season and the last time I looked it was very expensive to get in. There is a park closer to you...Gilmer...Barnwell Mt I believe. That is supposed to be pretty good place to wheel outside dallas.

Where is tolar? Havent heard of that one...cant wait to go back to Hidden Falls in the fall, I have to fix my front diff lock and a lower rear control arm that sustained heavy damage this last trip. It sure is fun tearing up stuff, just not fun fixing it

Where is the trail at Lake Belton? I live in McGregor and might try and hit it up one day soon.

I see the place on Google Earth. Is there actual trails? Is it private property?

Well, its a trail that runs a creek and there is no private property signs or no trespassing signs soooooo we use it. I dont know where it ends as I have only gone so far down it and turned around. When someone tells me not to drive it I will, but until then, I am gonna use it...lol

I've been there a few times. There's a lot of trails all around the lake. Never had any problem.

There's a place to wheel outside of Temple. Off 36 by the Cefco there's a little white church, you turn there and it's back a ways. I guess it's somebody's place but there's a sign in/sign out booth at the end of the road so they know everybody got out ok. Also a sign with their rules and a number to call if you break down or get stuck. I havent been there in a few years and dont remember how exactly to get to it anymore. I'll have to cruze around one day and find it again with a GPS location or something.
