Lift for a 98?

I have a 98 Jeep Wrangler and want to lift it. Would a 3inch suspension lift kit be all i need or am i going to have to buy some other things?

You will probably need a SYE and new driveshaft to do it correctly. Also, new shocks if the kit does not come with them.

Not needed all the time, but 3 inches is considered by a lot of members here to be the cut off for a SYE. There is a zone lift that many have used that is a 4.25 in lift that is 3in springs and 1.25 in body lift that says you do not need a SYE. When I did my 4in, I just went ahead and did the SYE as well because I wanted to get it all done at once and make sure I did not cause myself more problems. You may want to look into the zone lift.

I have a 4" zone with no sye. And have had no problems. Been running this set up for almost a year and have put it through some strain. Very happy with the product!

Depends on what you get. A couple hundred on up. I got a super short from Tom Wood's. I think it was about 325.
, but in my old age my memory is slipping.
