Question Recovery Hooks

When I bought my used 2000 jeep wrangler sport, it did not come with recovery hooks on the front bumper, I bought an aftermarket hook, but I'm worried about how to get the existing nuts and bolts out and if they're long enough to accomodate the hook. Ideas, advice, info all greatly appreciated...

so you got the nuts and bolts still attached, but no tow hooks?

id get some PB Blaster and start soaking those bolts before you try to get em off.

once you get em off, try em with your new tow hooks. if they need to be longer, go buy some longer ones.

seems pretty straight forward.

are the bolts that are on there torx heads? you will lean to hate torx bolts, if you don't already. when i put to hooks on my tj i used the existing torx bolts, they are just barely long enough. on my cj i got slightly longer grade 8 hex head bolts. i am slowly replacing every torx on my cj with hex heads.
