I thought it was pretty cool, I took some photos

And a picture of mine.

Anyone have 4wd problems? I didn't thanks to my novak shifter cable but I think there was a yellow YJ out there having problems also a TJ couldn't shift into 4wd.

Thanks man, the scoop was a hit at the cruise believe it or not lol. I had my CB radio on, I did hear some people talking on it on the way to the island but I really didn't hear much because of wind.

I'm from Brownsville as well! Love wheeling on Boca Chica, but would love to find some trails other than the border to explore lol

My brother had way too much fun on the beach at Boca Chica a few weeks ago with the Jeep, popping wheelies and donuts, I couldn't watch. lol. . . .

the Island was having some kind of LGBT community parade thing going on during the weekend of the SPI Jeep meet up, so I didn't go.

I swear I've seen your Jeep around somewhere.

Here's mine on Boca Chica. Drove all the way from Weslaco to the beach topless, felt a little sorry for the people in the back. Holey cow, that's an experience.

I think I've seen yours too. There aren't many unlimited jeeps like yours. Try driving without the doors, sometimes the wind hits you hard. Although, you know it's worth it when you have a huge smile on your face.

Iv'e never been to Boca Chica but Iv'e seen all that empty land from the jettis and south padre side. Can you wheel on top of the dunes? Or is it illegal to drive on the dunes like at SPI?

You can wheel on the sand dunes, grill out, camp out, take your ATV, hell you can do a bomb fire if you wanted to. I prefer Boca Chica over the Island anytime for some real fun on the beach!

I've seen soft-top Unlimiteds around, I haven't seen any hardtop ones yet. I grinned whenever I looked in the rearview mirror and saw the passengers huddled together. hehehe I probably enjoyed that too much. . .

My next purchase is attachable door windows so I can drive around doorless without getting pulled over and ticketed. I don't think I'll be taking it on the highway topless again anytime soon. Everybody wound up badly sunburnt.

Haha, no, it hasn't happened yet. I'm a little wary though because over Spring break I was riding around without the top and I got a warning for failing to signal. . . . I think it was the fact it was spring break, and I didn't have the top on, and I'm 24 years old. Not so much failing to use my blinker when I switched lanes. It was a pull-over/flash lights/freak out the girl who's never been pulled over by a police officer before state trooper, I guess.

Now that I think about it, most people down here don't seem to like my Jeep much. People seem to get more inconsiderate than usual when I'm driving it around town. It's never that bad with other vehicles I drive. . hm. .

I'm from Brownsville, Tx and I've been trying to find local trails to explore, but can't seem to find some. I've managed to find small trails, but I want to find some real good ones. Is there anyone here that knows of one?
