Awesome advice, thanks. Did you go with coils or spacers? I'm trying to keep my initial costs low. Looking to spend under 600 for my lift and shocks, it possible.

Went with the coils. I am going to be getting new shocks soon and want to get rid of the "extenders" so I will be going with aftermarket shocks. In February I also had a new Teraflex steering stabilizer put in and it is already leaking....not good. So I am going to stay away from that brand and will go with the Bilstein 5100's. They are a bit pricey at around $90 bucks EACH with taxes.

Km2. I'd recommend 35's. You may find yourself addicted to offload very quickly with this group. We do a lot of get togethers.

The group(s) around San Antonio have many different suspension combinations. Try to come to a get together and check them out. Best way to see everything for yourself.

Are y'all a part of the Austin Exclusive group also? Coworker has a 2010 and I just bought a 2012. Looking to go to the Hidden Falls event next Saturday(15th) to try and meet some folks. I'm still stock until I finish a settlement, can't wait for the lift and tires.

I live in the Grissom/Tezel area Misty Oak subdivision.

I'm not a member of the Austin Exclusive group. I am a member of Jeep Nation (myjeepforum.net and facebook - Jeep Nation) and I also hang out with the Wrangler Forum crowd (both GREAT groups of people). Both groups plan meet and greets, wheeling events, install parties and so on and so forth. There are no membership dues or fees or mandatory meetings with either group.

Hope you can join either group to see if they are the club you are looking for.

Well, my coworker are planning on attending th hidden falls event for the Austin group to try and meet some of them. Says you have to attend one meeting and one event. Would like to see their behavior at an event. They seem family friendly, that's key for me. I'd really like to meet folks around SA though.

There is a meet and greet this Saturday (9/8/12) @ Rudy's in Selma/Schertz @ 6. If you have a chance, come on out and join us.

Just in case you can't make this meet and greet, the Wrangler Forum group usually meets up the 1st Saturday of every month at different locations.

Jeep Nation is planning a run on the 22nd of September to Luckenbach, TX and then heading to Fredericksburg for lunch.

Come on out to Rudy's in Selma for some BBQ and Jeep Loving fun. People usually start showing up around 6 to 6:30. The Not A Jeep Club! guys are planing a trip to Hidden falls Sep 22, so anyone that wants to tag along is more than welcome, we also have some Jeep Nation Jeeps that show. Bottom line all are welcome, everyone is friendly, and we have alot of fun showing our jeeps off.

We're you there? Didn't see the jeep in your profile, was wanting to check out the s/c as I have been debating one soon as they can get past the computer for the 2012.

L350, we're you in the CJ?

It was great meeting some new faces. I was there in the black stock JKU and my coworker in his lifter 2010 JKU. Very friendly crowd which is what we were wanting to find as we're both family oriented. Planning to go out to Hidden Falls on the 15th as well as possibly the 22nd.

Don't worry we meet every mouth. Next meeting is 6th of October probably at Buffalo Wild Wings or Hooters or somewhere that has football games on TV. Some of our jeepers passed this time due to college football games they didn't want to miss.

I just wanted to post this up for anyone that might be interested in going.

Jeep Nation - Luckenbach Day Trip
(Luckenbach Day Trip - Saturday, September 22nd)

It's now time to start planning on our day trip to Luckenbach. It should be a very enjoyable trip.

We will meet in the Jack N Box parking lot at 281N & Evans Road at 9:30 am. Departure will be 9:45-10:00 am. Our initial stop will be the LBJ ranch in Johnson City. Ranch tours are free. If you want to tour the LBJ Texas White House (inside the house), there is a $2 fee for 18 & older.

The next stop will be historic Luckenbach. The Lone Star Music Festival is being held on the 22nd. Some may want to return to Luckenbach later in the day for this event. Our main event is to visit the General Store and partake of a liquid refreshment or two.

After Luckenbach, we will depart for Fredericksburg and have a late lunch at a great German Restaurant, Friedhelms Bavarian Inn. There are many good German restauants, but only one great one in Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg has a plethora of wineries, but most charge a tasting fee. Two, Texas Hill Vineyards & Woodrose Winery & Vineyards offer free tastings. We would be remiss if we did not visit at least two of the local wineries.

For those with children, Enchanted Rock is a few miles out of Fredericksburg and is well worth the visit. If you have not visited this historic place, you should do so. The Admiral Nemintz Museum is also a great place to visit.

As usual, suggestions, comments, or ideas are welcome.

Ray
