I just just got back to my apt in the west side of houston from my dads out in crosby area and i did 20mph all the way down I-10. I saw plenty of cars stalled out in the road. My wife had to park at some sketchy looking massage palor and get in the jeep with me because she almost stalled out. So glad i have a jeep! I just hope her car is okay in the morning lol
Glad everything was good. I ended up working from home today, after watching the news some more I decided staying closer to home was a wise choice, lol.
Anyone know whatever happened to that dam that was failing this morning? I think it was predicted to bust sometime at noon or afternoon.
Currently watching the Brazos River rise higher and higher. It's about 5-6' from coming out of its banks. Something not too reassuring since I live 2 miles from it
What a devastating month it has been; I'm in the DFW area, and Friday was a horrendous, tragic day after Thursday night's rains. Hope everyone is safe.
Hope the worst is over, and that Mother Nature has forgiven us for whatever pissed her off.
