Anyone know of some good basic trails around San Antonio?

You might want to post this again in the Texas forum, too.

Last weekend we went to Canyons Off Road Park in Fredericksburg and we had a blast!

Subscribed, my son is a SA Jeeper and I drive my JKU there twice a year. Something to do rather than the usual hill country winery trips would be fun.

Thank you! I've heard of that one. Are there some simple trails?

I'm about 5 hours south of there. Would like to go try out the place at Fredricksburg. Assuming there are easy trails there. I haven't had any "real" trail experience, and still have stock tires.

I only live about an hour from fredericksburg, I definitely want to hit some trails with some other jeeps. If anyone is interested too, I wanted to get some people together to go to hidden falls adventure park! Its probably the best place in texas to go to.

hidden falls is great for all levels. from stock to rock crawlers there will be trails for you and it's not too far from S.A. You would be surprised what a stock jeep can handle. I've wanted to try out Canyons myself.

If you are ever willing to make the drive, up to Gilmer(by Tyler), there is Barnwell Mountain, way better than Hidden Falls and worth the drive.

Myself and Starbrite are making the Barnwell trip easter weekend. Meeting Eastexasgirl there with some of her regular jeep buddies.

Hey! What am I, chopped liver?! I'm making that trek too

Canyons is pretty cool but you can get in trouble if you are a novice driver. I would have never tried half of what I did without someone more experienced spotting and telling me I could make it, wouldn't tip over, etc...

CFP, you aren't kidding. Stock Jeeps are waaay more capable than most stock Jeep owners

Where is Barnwell Mountain? I realize it's near Tyler.
