Wanting to buy a 2012 Sahara Unlimited, I need some advice

I live in College Station and I'm looking for advice from JK owners in Texas who drive in the same climate as I do. This will be my first Jeep and my biggest concerns are with the rear seat temp bc of the lack of a rear AC and price?

-I have a 2 year old so I'm concerned about the numerous complaints of the inside temp being too high. What are you experiencing with the rear seat temperatures and kids.

-My local dealer said that Jeeps sell for close to the MSRP. He was only willing to come off $1,500. Is that standard or is that a sales trick?

Jeeps sell very close to MSRP especially in the summer. I have a 2007 Sahara unlimited and the a/c isn't really an issue because it is so powerful. I frequently have people in the back seat of mine with no complaints. (well except for the mud). My recommendations are to (if possible) wait till winter to buy and insist on a hard top. (due to the munchkin you are toting around) best of luck!

I would recommend joining tread lightly to get at least 1% under invoice. Also, check to see if where you work is a part of the affiliate program for invoice pricing.
