I checked out the place in West Odessa last Sunday. Pretty trashy at the entrance, but got better the deeper in we went. There was some kids out there in a ragged out miata, jumping it and doing donuts, so we didn't stay long.

Like I said, it's no offroad park, has a lot of trash along the entrance, & leaves a lot to be desired, but it has plenty of obstacles to get some pretty decent wheeling practice in. I usually go out there twice a month usually on Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

That's a first, someone out there being stupid in a Miata lol, but can't blame you for not staying long. Theres usually no one out there, but if there is , they're usually in the smaller north pit, we usually wheel in the larger pit on the south end. If you would like some company next time you want to go out, let me know. There are a few of us that go out there on a regular basis & spend the afternoon out there

New to wrangler forum in Abilene, Tx. I bought a Sahara 4dr. Jeep a couple of years ago and I have all the soft top attachments, (rack kit, brackets, vinyl window panels, back panel ect.) all still in the box. Could someone direct me to the correct place to post for sale? Thank you.

I'm new to WF and have owned my first jeep for only 7 months now. It's a '99 Sahara w/ 4" lift. I'd love to join you guys sometime in Odessa at the spot you're talking about. I'm in Midland so it's an easy drive to and from.

I'm in the process of looking for a hard top for my jeep. Let me know if you have any contacts that may help me out, or any advice why I shouldn't.

The place we go is in West Odessa, it's been 2 to 4 of us in the past, but looks like there will be a lot more this time. We don't have an actual meeting place, per say, yet. I know of maybe one club in the Odessa area & they are very private from what I can tell. The next closest club would be McCamey that I know. At the same time, if we can get enough local guys together who get along, we might could setup fairly regular meeting places & flexible times in the future.

Well everyone,

Since it looks like there will be more than 2 or 3 of us this time, I'd say the easiest to find & closest place to where we are going would be the "Red X" truck stop off of I-20 & FM 1936, unless there are any objections..........?

It would be awesome if we could get a club going out here. What time is best to meet and where are we meeting at the actual spot or are we going to meet at the truck stop? Pretty excited for this weekend.

To give our friends from Lubbock some driving time without having to leave out at the butt crack of dawn;

Let's meet at the RedX truck stop @ 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.

Everyone is welcome.

PM me if you have any questions regarding directions, or anything else.
