I had a good time there, It has a lot of great obstacles and was a great place to get to know my new (new to me) TJ. Can we say r-tic-u-lation?

I tried to email everyone that was there with a few photos, but had couple didn't go through. (guess I couldn't read the writing) so pm me your email (again) if you didn't get the photos, about 18 photos out of 130.

On the way out, Scott and I had to rescue a fellow in the big mud hole so I even got to try out the winch.

Enjoyed meeting everyone, it was a blast and we all know that it takes a good group of folks to make that happen.

Also thought we had a great leader, whoever he was....., thanks Toolman .

Thanks

Thanks again for coming out everyone! I'm still bragging about all of you to my wife & friends who couldn't make it out there yesterday.

Would anyone be up for doing it again on the first or last weekend during Spring Break for Texas Tech? I should have the Jeep ready to again by then, lol.

As soon as I get a chance to load all the pics into photobucket, I'll post the best few of the really neat pics I shot of everyone.

H2O, thanks again for volunteering to do the slide show video, I really appreciate it!

You are very welcome! It was a pleasure having both of you Glad y'all made it back safe!

You can send them to H2O "Dif" I am giving all of my pics to him as well to compile them ( about 140 pics lol) He creates really awesome slide show videos.

Hopefully you can make it to the next get together, I'm thinking sometime around spring break possibly

I'm sad for not being able to make it either. Sounds like you all had a great time, and hopefully I can make it out there when you guys go next month. I'd love to see some pics, but I understand if don't want to post on here.

Take care everyone, and have a blessed week!

I had a blast out there with everyone. I look forward to everyone getting together again. Maybe we can meet for lunch one day and go wheeling afterwards or something. Hate that you broke a shaft, but all in all it was a great day.

Hoping to order my lift, gears, and rockers before the next outting. Regearing to 5.13's, 3.5" lift, and 35's. Think I'll put the lockers on the back burner for now and get a front XRC bumper and winch after the lift and all.

Guys I had a great day out with everyone yesterday. Definitely need to do it again. Totally down for lunch before and then wheeling after. It was awesome to see how everyone banded together so quickly and was ready to help each other out. Hope everyone has a great week. Thanks for everyone who took pics.

You should have a few presents in your inbox by the time you get out of school today

I'm also going through the photos I took to make sure I don't post any pics openly that show license plate numbers. Just a courtesy thing I do

If you think it's a good shot, keep it, I can fix the license plate thing. Sometimes it is pretty hard to miss the plate when your getting good photos of the jeep.

Edit:
Oops, never mind, you mean the photos that YOU are going to post.

Pics!!!

Ok Ladies & Gentlemen, here's some teaser pics from the trip for until Mr. Dif has a chance to put the slideshow together, I think you all will really like what he does with them. Sleemullins & I had lunch with him today then gave him the copies of the pics we took.

I apologize in advance if any of your license plates are readable, but most the pics show everyone's license plates. I will blur them all out when I get a chance. Here's some pics that did not include them, or have them out of focus.

Enjoy ......

I know of a place to go crawlin just south of notrees on the cap rock but the thing is I don't know the property owner or how to contact him/her to get permission to go out there, but I've delivered and P.U. tubing in that area before. I had a lot of a$$ time so I went looking when I saw some massive bolders out there and mentally making lines to go up and down as I was looking around

Just ordered my lift! Should be here Friday/Saturday. I know some hate em, some love em, but I went with the Rough Country Series II 3.5" lift. It's got great reviews compared to some of the others they put out. Have a friend in FL that runs it and loves it. I just think for now it's all I'll need for what I do.

So the plan is to put it on this Sat, and order gears the week after. Once the gears are in, it's looking like some 35's will follow as soon as I wear out the stock 32" Rubi tires. Oh, and rocker guards will be in by the end of the month and skids shortly there after.

Also will be trimming my stock flares once the 35's are on...think it'll look funny with the 32's and trimmed. At least for now the flares can help with the tires looking to small for the jeep.

I'm pretty sure I've seen where you're talking about before, if it's the same place, I have a friend who is a friend of the property owner who is trying to talk him into letting a few Jeeps come out & play every now & then.

That's AWESOME! Sounds like your Jeep will be VERY capable here quite soon. I like the sounds of everything you are doing, it's definitely going to get you just about everywhere you want to go, can't wait to see how it does next time evryone gets together.

Awesome! I'll be happy when spring gets here myself. If you need any help, give me a holler. If I'm not tied up at work, I'm more than willing to lend a hand.

I'm just waiting on a lot of parts for mine anyway.
