What part of the coast? I know a jeep club in seabrook. But they're not to friendly to new comers. And a Galveston group with upwards of 100 people in it.

Hate to hear that you are having trouble finding a local group, hopefully KidRock can get ya hooked up with a local club. In the mean time, you're more than welcome to hang out & converse with us

Ok, I think I've talked myself out of the 37's....I think there's just too much risk with them and a D30 for me to be real comfortable. I'll roll with the 35's and strengthen the D30 up some and lock that baby up....So many plans....so little jeep money

Your best bet would be Houston jeep people. Last I heard they have 500 or so members. They do an annual go topless day and it pretty much shuts down 45 between H-Town and the island. Everyone goes and hangs out on the east end. It's quite a sight. Last year around 300 jeeps were lining the sea wall.

Go big or go home hahahaha! Just kidding 35 will be a good choice. I have 37 but had to cut the finders some to get alittle more clearance when crawling.

Are you running your 37's on a D30? If so, you feel pretty good with it as long as you keep a light foot?

Oh, I'll be there for sure. Took a picture today trying to see how much flex I have with the lift....other than tearing the boot on my front driveshaft , I'm pretty satisfied. This was almost full flex, few more inches to go. Definitely some more meat under her now.

Decisions like this are usually based on how much money you have to spend and how you plan to use your Jeep. How much money are you willing to spend for just these two items?

Camping/Jeeping Anyone?

March 15-17 we are planning to go to the Lincoln NF west of Carlsbad, NM. We are going to camp and jeep as much as possible while we are there. If anyone is into this sort of thing and would want to go, PM me and I can describe the trip in more detail and find out if you have the type of gear for this remote style of camping/jeep experience.
