Holiday inn sounds better than baking in a tent. And it would be safe place to keep the doors.

I am going to have to call later today and check on prices for the rooms.

Depending on the weather I might leave my top at home and just bring the panels.

One of these days I'm going to have to get in on this.

Do they have easy trails for slightly modded vehicles and "new" to Jeep off road drivers? I'm looking to do some stuff, but as my Jeep is also my DD I have to be careful with what I do. All the off road I really get to do is on dirt/muddy hunting roads on the way to our cabin...before we switch off and head out on four wheelers.

I did it with only bumper winch, and rock sliders. Did not need any of it. But armor on the underside I would say is a strong advisement to get. I have some dents that convinced me. I have some I am waiting to bolt on. They do have some very easy stuff. But the easy stuff is no fun.

yes they do. All the trails are rated from 1-5. Plenty of trails out there for stock vehicles up to rock crawlers. Here's my video from out there. Mine is only 2.5 inch lift with 31s. My buddy just has 31s with a body lift. The images/video don't do the trails justice of what they are really like.

Well we drove down there with the top down and got a nasty sunburn on one arm. Then we had a few beers at Double Horn Brewing Company - Marble Falls, TX before calling it a night. Things were SLOW going at the event there were way more drivers then soldiers. To make matters worse we got bumped down from the red trails to the blue trails because of a roll cage rule. Then we sat in line for ever and our group left out with only two riders in 5 vehicals. After our first trail run we got put in another group and I picked up two riders. That stayed with us the rest of the day.
Its a great cause but things didnt go smooth at all. There were rigs sitting around waiting to take people out and at the same time you would have people waiting to be took out but no one could leave till they got the ok to do so.

The only photo I took all weekend long was after I had to put my jeep on the trailer on the way home becouse a ticking sound started in the frontend. I just swaped out jeeps with my budy and drove his home so he can haul my jeep and his bugy back to his shop.
It was still a great weekend but Im not so sure Ill go next year becouse of the way the event was ran.

Nice I'm going in June so hopefully it won't be so packed like you said. Also is your jeep a 2012 born date of 7-11 through 11-11. I have the same on mine.
