Where in Texas

Argyle, Texas just south of Denton. Haven't done much off-road in Texas in years, since my 1979 CJ7 days, just got the 2010 Sahara and took a 2 week trip to Colorado and Utah in June.....man what a trip, can't wait to go back again.

Thanks!! I will look it up. I read on another thread that a group from the east coast is planning on a trip to Moab Utah next summer. We are exactly 1,016 miles away. Any interest in getting a Texas group together?

Level 1 and 2 trails are for beginners and you should be ale to take a stock jeep through them with an inexperienced driver and not have to worry about damage.

Bridgeport was awesome. Lots of mud and lots of good trails. We were out there all day today and it was most fun I've had in a long time. It's in Bridgeport tx. It's west of Decatur by about 10 miles. West of Denton about 40 miles.

I thought about it too. After the rains I bet it was good. I hit a construction site near where I live as time was limited.

This is what I found out about Bridgeport.

Bridgeport, TX - Official Website - Northwest OHV Park
Northwest Park, Northwest OHV Park, OHV, off road park, 4x4, jeeps, The park includes over 25 miles of trails in various degrees of difficulty. Trail Map.
www.cityofbridgeport.net >

We are heading out there this weekend (Oct 2nd). I will admit that as a Newb (I hate that title) I will be out there checking it out. I will take some photos and let you know how it goes.

Dallas fort worth area. If you get behind the railroad tracks by 360 on the southside of the airport it has always been pretty fun. There are always guys out there on atv's, motorcycles, and 4x4's. Not the most challenging but fun if you need somewhere close.

They closed the entrance to it by the freeway. Can't figure out how to get back there anymore
