Hey fellow TEXANS! Where in Texas are you?

I'm in Midland (west Texas). Just look on the horizon and when you see a big cloud of red dirt you'll know exactly where I am. :D

In Midland I haven't found a single trail yet except for a dirt road behind my house. It's about as fun as driving around a parking lot.

In Fort Davis and that area I'm sure there are a bunch. I haven't been down to that area since I got my Jeep so I wouldn't know exactly where they are. Although I'd love to make a run down there sometime and find some. :)

Gilmer, TX is a fun place, and is in east Texas. I believe that Katemcy Rocks is opening the first weekend of Feb. If it hasn't rained in awhile, 360 and Trinity blvd. is a fun place to play. It is a flood plain area, but has some awesome climbs. For those who like the mud, there is plenty of that. Also, some rock gardens to play on.

Almost forgot the point of this thread, I live in Alvarado, TX. Just about 30 miles south of Fort Worth.

There were some spots over by lakeworth across the lake from Carswell but we took the dogs for a walk over there a few days ago and they were being fenced off. I know a few people that were escorted out of 360 and Trinity by the police but as far as legality of being in different parts of that area I would check with the local police department. Like Blu said Gilmar is a good place from what I hear and I have seen some nice offroading areas out by Weatherford. The one I use to go to was off an old road that ended at a river crossing on the Brazos but its been a while for me and am going through severe withdrawal. Martial creek wasn't bad for mud slinging and beach lounging in the Jeep, but on my last visit about a year ago or so alot of the areas that were fun a long time ago are now blocked off (no more going into the bush through the gully's and goat trails to get to the beach).

Marshall Creek..

About 2 or three years ago Marshall Creek got bought and they put up alot of fences, you can't get to the leake with all the sand...also the big mud hole on the way. you can still get to it on a 2 wheeler, but I am too old for that now (I don't bounce anymore)

I know a few good places. I wheel almost every weekend and im always looking for someone to go with. I usually have a buddy with me but no one with a jeep. What side of town are you on?

Im in S.A

Need I say?

SAN ANTONO, TX

But I was born in the same town as the Margarita!
So where in S.A do you wheel? I wheel just about every weekend in the north western area. I dont really know anyone with a jeepin my area mostly trucks. I am really interested in going out with other jeeps or at least people who appreciate offroading like i do. I don't care for mudding as much, more of the hill climbing a rock flexing but any where off the road is where i like to be. I have a 99' TJ with 4 inches and 33x12.50s. Super 35 kit in the rear and 4.56s front and rear.
