2wd at Chandler trails?

Hey guys I'm in OK for college and really want to go out and play in the mud. I've hear alot of people go out to Chandler trails and want to give it a try. But...of course I have a 2wd jeep... no LSD or locker (yet!) so do you think I will be good to take the trails? Thanks!

Heres a picture of my jeep now

I would not risk a mud hole anywhere with a 2wd car...

Well I got through nasty Louisiana mud with no lift and highway tires. Is it usually muddy at chandler or mostly rock crawling?

Mud? This is the dust bowl!I know of one guy that took his VW baja bug out there & got around pretty good, but if I were you,I would wheel with a buddy with 4wd & recovery gear. There are some trails that get pretty rough.I have gotten lost in there,I would hate to walk out for help!

You have a nice looking Jeep, but it has street looking tires and basically one wheel drive in the slick stuff. Be sure and take a good camera & post your Whoops! pics

I believe it is easy to convert a 2wd JK to 4wd,basically bolt in a front axle in place of the dummy front tube, bolt in a transfer case & drive shaft.Meanwhile,it might be wise to make sure you have tow hooks & recovery gear,& a rear locker or Lsd would really help even in 2wd.
