Not sure about Cavenaul but our club hits Clayton - Green Acres and Frielings at least 3 x's a year. We also will be running the K-Trail again this fall

It's called cavanal but the locals call it Poteau mountain it is known as the worlds largest hill there are a lot of old logging trails up there

Ya I lived in poteau for a while and I been up there a couple time in humvee's but I don't know where all the trails are just a couple

I never when up there to off road, just went to the top to make out . My wife and I lived in Heavener for many years before we moved to southern okla (were I grew up) . We go up there to see family and friends but its just a few times a year.

My wife is from sister lol I lived in heavner for a short time as well it was ok lol really small tho

Well you can still get on top of it but I don't know if you can still hit the big trails up there or not ain't been in 2yrs

It is still considered a scenic drive you can go up there if you stay on the paved roads I do not know about the off roading part

Most of us are in the city but we accept out of towners as well . Couple of members from western Ok, Tulsa area and 1 psycho from Texas. We have WFTW in Sept, Oct in Hot Springs and thinking Nov run to Green Acres when it cools off a little.

I live in Wister. We ride the logging roads south of us quite a bit. We ventured over into Ar. on Walker Mt. a few weekends ago. There is alot to ride down there. Nothing to extreme....By the way, you can get up on Cavanal but your not allowed down the back side anymore....

My wife is from wister we go up there sometimes to visit her mom and dad after I get my jeep fixed I plan on taking it up there and hitting the lake area
