I noticed you're from Purcell. Isn't there a off road park there?

Cool

I just did some trading with a guy. Had an old pickup that he needed and vice versa. We were about 3 hours apart so we met at a truck stop half way and basically traded on the side of the road haha

Have you checked out disney just off of grand lake? I have seen some nice dirt trails as well as rock climbs. Im looking for more easy going like dirt trails myself but i hear they are great down there.

Talking

Hi again everyone, been awhile since I got on here. Had to sell my first jeep () due to my son to pay for daycare...(Evil, just evil).

Just picked up a 2006 Rubicon Unlimited () all stock w/28000 miles on it today. Now I need to find a couple of places to take it out and have some fun! Any recommendations for Owasso area?

Cheers mates!

If the river is low enough there is plenty to do and have fun. Don't go into to deep of water it not good.

Hey, everyone! Just got my Sport a couple weeks ago. I fell in love with it when I test drove it, lol! I'm a NW Oklahoma boy (Woodward)....

Nothing much done yet, but I do have plans for new tires, rims and a lift. Not really into rock climbing (not much of that in this part of the state anyways I guess) but am interested in trail riding. Anyone else from this part of the state?

New guy here.

Just got my 06 TJ X a couple months ago and love this little beast. Have had several 4x4's over the years but this was my retirement gift to myself.
The wife and I own a small farm in rural Love county(Marietta, OK) right on the Red River. We both love the outdoors and some moderate wheeling locally so far. We are looking to meet other Jeepers in our area. Glad I finally found a local page.

I'm from Inola, but I went camping in some park or nat'l forest west of Lawton a few years ago and saw some trucks and jeeps off on some trails. I don't know the name of the place but it's west of town and we stopped by a restaurant called Meer's if that helps any.

Who says opening up old hunting trails is easy( Pic heavy)

Well I was up really early this morning (3:00 A.M. Sat around the house till just as the sun was coming up and decided to take the "Grasshopper" around the valley scouting the trails checking out the deer herd for this year. This old trail hadn't been traveled yet this year and decided to open her up for the year. Johnson grass was bout as tall as my Jeep which made for a rude awakening for me when suddenly found myself sitting on the frame with all four tires spinning in mid air. I luckily had cell reception and after surveying the problem for a bit I reluctantly called my better half whose last words to me had been "Don't get stuck". Well it took her a few minutes to drive "Big Dog" my 3/4 ton chev 4x4 truck and I was sure relieved to see her although She was not as happy to see me. No big deal to pull the Jeep out as she just locked the 3/4 ton down into 4Low. The Jeep hopped right out of the rut and here I am telling you my tale. Just remember that old trails can still be a pain. I intentionally left out the pic of my wifes less than happy face when she arrived.

I hit Disney on go topless day, they had a novice run at Hogan's. I'm not experienced either so I wouldn't wanna try an go back on my own since I'm not familiar with the trails there. But it was definitely a lot of fun! I've been looking for some easygoing trails myself.
