Oklahoma Trails?

Going to college in Oklahoma and was wondering if anyone here rides any trails in Oklahoma. Located in okmulgee. Willing to drive anywhere in a 75 mile radius. Thanks!

Closest to you is Disney, Clayton, Gruber, Cass Ar. Check out some of the clubs in your area. Our group makes runs every month with doubles in the fall and spring.

Awesome! I'll look around and do some research. Embarrassing question but will a 2wd jeep make it through the trails?

Half way to Tahlequah on US 62. Turn right at the sign and follow the paved road. You can't miss it. Mostly muddy roads and trails. Quite a few side trails...not sure where they go. Only been there a couple of times.

My Wrangler gets around pretty good in 2wd,but I have a rear locker.I would advise you to get some good tow hooks and go with a group or another vehicle that can drag you out when you get stuck!

Sorry , hit the button to soon.

I would go with ya if you wanna head that way or elsewhere. My jeep is stock with non aggressive tires and it does just fine. Do have winch too, just in case...

May be a stupid question but what "sign" do we turn right at? What does it say?

hey,JohnnyBishop, have you ever explored the trails around Claremore Lake? They are not hardcore, they run around the north & east shores to some duck blinds & fishing spots. Its pretty dry right now but after some rain or snow they might get pretty interesting.

Yeah I spent an hour or so winching a couple guys out back there a few weeks ago. I was teaching my kids some basic offroad stuff and came across some kids having a little to much fun ! They are fun little quick trails. They are fun after a rain but you better know which ones are doable. Been back there several times over the years.
