4inch lift with 33s btw but just to be clear I wasn't trying to rag on anyone without a lift. My cousin runs a baja on the trails and he does awesome. Just find that most non wavers are typically unmodded jeeps.

His question was "Is it just for JK jeepers" Hence, my answer. It's for all jeepers. I don't care if you drive a CJ, YJ, TJ, JK. or other.

A jeeper is a jeeper is a jeeper!

Not everyone can afford mods. Especially a lift and big tires. Plus I have known and seen a good number of people who mod to look cool only. They never so much as drive through a puddle in the road. My jeep is stock and I go everywhere I can.

I wave at everyone in a Jeep. No exceptions. There's a young girl with a new Jeep in my neighborhood that I wave at every time. She never waves back. Ever time I wave she looks more and more frightened. I'm just waiting for a squad car to show up at my house one day.

Anyone want to meet up at Keystone?

Just got my TJ out of storage and ready to get muddy. Went out to Keystone today to check it out for the first time. Had fun but looking to meet up with some others so I can hit the deeper holes.

new girl on the block

I'm a brand new jeeper and can't wait to get out and see what my rig can do. I don't know any other 'tulsa' area jeepers and would love to get out soon. Please let me know if a group is going out and wouldn't mind a newbie tagging along.

I ran into a group today at Disney that would have been perfect for you to try out your Jeep. They held a Novice Run today (guide new drivers through the trails and rocks). They are based out of Claremore http://www.extreme4wheelin.com/ , hold monthly meetings and travel to all the local wheelin places (Disney, Clayton, Joplin, SMORR)

I'll probably be joining them in the near future. I've been looking for locals to go wheeling with myself.

I've crossed Chandler Park off my list. Talked to a local Deputy last week and he told me "NO VEHICLES" of any type in Chandler park at any time.

That would have been PERFECT! If only I was in the 'know' a bit sooner. Hopefully I can get out when they have another Novice Run. I'll definitely be joining them as a member, if you want to get out sometime soon let me know, thanks for the info!!

Jeep Club

Just readin' through the threads here... we sort have created a club here in Tahlequah, about 6 of us run jeeps. we dont go out and eat on a monthly basis but we do hit the trails in Braggs and Disney. We call our little group 'Mudrok'.
Hopefully we are going this weekend (5/20) to ORV on the river. i have some work on the Black Sheep to do this week to get him ready. Welding on new shock mounts on rear to get them up, having the front drive shaft machined, and also putting on new electric fan (last one i found dragging directly below transmission...not good). Just had front locker put on last week and want to try it out.
i will post if we head over there, would like for you'all to join us.

Mudrok Offroad Club

ok, so after being hounded by many, i guess it is time to organize this little club we have started. On Tuesday, June 14, 7pm, at the Tahlequah Charlies Chicken.... anyone who is interested in being a part of this club, please join us for a meeting to coordinate whatever it is we need to coordinate. i personally have never been a part of a club like this, so i am a little clueless as where to start. You dont have to be a Jeeper to join, just some kind of offroad rig. i know of about 8 that are interested.

Please let me know if you plan on attending, would like an idea as to how many to expect. i will also have decals available at the meeting for $10 if you are interesting in joining.

So jealous. Wish I could go, but we are taking a family vacation to south Carolina Saturday to Saturday. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next run.

Is anyone or does anyone know a good transmission mechanic in the Tulsa area that can rebuild my NV3550 for a decent price? I took it to HHH transmissions and they're wanting around $2500 to rebuild it and I just don't have that kind of money for that right now. Or does anyone have one for sale? I'd like to get the upgraded one out of the 05-06 TJ if I could because that's a 6 speed and I'd just need 3 connectors from Mercedes and be able to have a little more torque in 1st and better gas milage in 6th, but the NV3550 will work also.

Thanks guys!
