Without a doubt yesterday was a confidence builder in this machine. You just have to point it in the right direction and let it do the work. I also learned that the pucker keeps you firmly attached to your seat.

I'm on 35's, 4.3 t.c., 4.88's with a stick. Kinda pricey, but definetly helps your crawl ratio. Just food for thought. Mark.

We were out at Cleghorn awhile back for the first time.
Anyone have an info about the gates on this trail ??
- are they open year round?
- any phone number/website to check to see if gates are going to be open ?

It was a nice quick day run but would hate to get some friends together and drive up there only to find the gates/trail closed.

You should go up Palm ave north of Kendel ave off the 215 Fwy ....just east of the 15 Fwy.
It'll take you up into Bailey canyon when you get to the top you can either take it over to CH
or to the east the Sky forest in Crest line or you can drop down a WICKED canyon called Saw pit canyon.....I'm surprise nobody's doing this one....it'll bring you out at the entrance to Silverwood lake....
Check it out some time....its a beast!!!

Good to know. Thank you for the info !
The Main Divide has the same type of gates that Cleghorn has and we've run into closed gates a few times over there.

Yeah...when on CH if you know where to look you can see the trail....it runs down to the valley between it and CH ridge from right around the antennas on the mountain.

JC ..you might be seeing "Cloud Line" trail that come down Devil's canyon....another nice one...

Bookmark this link, I always give it look before heading up there. Save you an hour+ round trip if the gates are locked.

I'm not sure but it seems like a neat trail. Maybe on of these days I'll take my Honda up there after class

Yes but it's a lot like Cleghorn and IMO if you guys are coming from Long Beach might as well go a little further and hit some better trails

If you can get to a regular computer (as opposed to phone or I pad) search the CA section with just 2n17 and you will bring up numerous runs with pictures.

Yeah....I had one of those GoPros.....it was a pain.
So it sold it and got the Contour HD+2 GPS....its an awesome video camera... ( Google it)
You've probably never noticed it but its always on the front of my jeep....
I have tons of video from just about every trail here in the desert & the mtns....just can never get the Boss to put them on U-tube for me....lol

If I don't take the pic with my phone...I won't be able to put it on here...

Ain't nobody got time for that...lol

If there weren't any pics from our WF members we wouldn't get all excited to try out new trails. So.... Pics help a lot and of course we got time for that.
