Hell yeah! Unlimited is right. You'll do just fine. With the amount of experienced wheelers that are gonna be there, they won't pressure you or let you down. Slow and easy get's the grade and safety is paramount.

Unlimited has personally directed me and tiny both over things that I wasn't sure were passable!

If this sets your mind at ease a little, here is a stock JK Rubicon coming down HAH.

Jeff, stock is actually better in my opinion for HAH. You'll have a lower center-of-gravity than most of the other Heeps and no problem at all. You may not like it much until you actually get over the edge and are on your way down but your Jeep will do fine. Really.

Thanks for the feedback. I think my wifey will be standing at the top till I make it down. I got her nervous on a fire road with a ledge about 10 feet away. haha. I am so looking forward to next weekend.

NICE vid 4Point! It's been years since I've been in the Pinion Mtn. area so it was cool to see it again.

Damm Pointy.... you just ruined it for everyone!

Seriously, if you watched that video, you've seen some of the highlights of Saturday's run. (However, I do believe they have changed the music on the Heart Attack Hill ride ) There isn't anything we'll be doing that is impassable if you give it a little thought and perseverance. Some of the less modified rigs may need a strap or a tug with a winch in a few places. My goal for the trip is for everyone to have a great time and have no breakage! As Cain said, we have all levels of skill and Jeep modification along on the trip. We'll work together and get through it, maybe learn a few things along the way, and have a great time doing it. (This is the main reason I love Jeeping)

A few points to consider:

Tiny and I were running this trail a while back and we came across a stock XJ with street tires that was driven by a couple of kids who had never been offroad before. We successfully led them through the Squeeze, down Heart Attack Hill, and through the rock gardens to Fish Creek Wash.

The last time we did Heart Attack Hill, Cain rode the whole way down in the passenger seat with tiny driving. We watched several Jeeps go down that hill, I think tiny's passenger seat was the only one occupied.

It's better to have friends point and laugh at you as you crap your pants going down a hill like that then total strangers

Haha, well for the moment you are all strangers to me, I am sure I will have some new people that I will be calling friends by the end of the weekend. And don't worry, go ahead and laugh I have thick skin.

x3 or whatever it is Turd.

Here is a pic of my 18 year old taking a stock 2000 TJ down HAH. Made it no problem (with the slight damage to his seat from "pinching" a bit hard).

That is a portion of seat being ejected from the extreme pressure of butt cheek clinching.

Wow, the expected low is only 50? I guess that means I can unload the 50 lbs. of long underwear, wool socks, thermal boots, fleece-lined Levis, wool shirts, hooded sweatshirt, parka, gloves, wool watch cap etc. my tent trailer has accumulated this winter. Spring is here at last!

Gonna be nice out there. Thinking of going topless of course, but do any of you think I should get a bikini top to keep the sun off us so much?

Good point. Yes, if you plan on running without a top, a bikini top is good. Don't forget sunscreen!!

Looks like it will be fun. And as of now - looks like I can't make it. My grandmother passed away yesterday - so I will most likely be in Florida on Saturday. If they change the day of the service - I will update. But for now - scratch me off of the list.

Eric

I'll be topless. My Jeep hasn't even seen its hardtop or doors since the day after I moved back to California. I'm running a bikini all the time, with a trail cover for when it looks like precipitation.

Only a couple more days!!
