My wife and I made it out to the race. We met Jim and Debra, Peter and John. We also ran into to Grant and Dakota. We decided to enter the event via Soggy and trek across the desert instead go in the main entrance. I don't think we saved any time but it was sure fun driving thru the desert instead of sitting in traffic.
We first stopped to watch the car race thru a whoop section. It was cool watching how good those cars work. Next it was on to Hammer Town. It was huge! We drove thru, picked up a cool event shirt and talked to a few jeepers interested in my LJ. From there we spent the day visiting chocolate Thunder, Back Door, Jackhammer, and Wrecking Ball. The drive home was an adventure as we had snow all the way to the bottom of the pass, and no traffic! We has a great time spending the day with good people and our jeep.

Tim, it was nice seeing you again and meeting your wife Heather. We had a great time with everyone. It looks like Jonathan is squatting a little next to them 54's making them look a little bigger or him smaller. I agree with you on waiting for the video to come out, it just wasn't as exciting as years past. Maybe I wasn't in the right spot. Looking forward to going wheeling. Hope you got aired up alright. Mark.
