I've never been to one of these, but we should do it like the BMW bimmerfest and all caravan together (I think that's the word). All meet at one place earlier and all drive up there with a big group. Take over the fwy jeep style

No Chinese-made Smittybilt bumper (or any Smittybilt product) would ever make it onto my TJ, you can find good (much better) quality American bumpers at a good price at the Expo.

I was actually looking through all my catalogs today. And reading some reviews. I came to the same conclusion, BUT they look so good and they're like a third of the price of the good ones :/ it's a tough choice, but I'm def going to wait for the expo to shop around, anything you reccomemd I look at specifically? I really like the stinger ones.

Poison Spyder. It's a little more expensive but built locally in Banning Ca and as strong as ever. Just my opinion.

I've heard a lot of good things about poison spider also. But most would argue that the smittybilt looks so much more badass lol

Isn't that too short of a drive for a caravan? But if we can get a group of people I'm ok with it.

Looking good Chuck!
When are you going to Moab? I just got back. In 4 days on the trails, I only saw one group of jeepers (and they were in Toyota's and GMC's)...

At 14 MPG the shorter the caravan the better.

Were you on a Jeep trip or mountain biking? Either way I hope you have some good campfire stories. Lol

Oh my gosh I about choked on my coffee reading this, it's so true!! Although, we are able to get 15.7 mpg on these long trips I'm pretty sure any thing we find at the expo we've spent the savings on the gas to get there, lol. But it's all about the road trip and adventure

That's great, it's so hard for me to get a good read because it's always 70% around town and 30 freeway. I'm hoping this trip we can get a better idea, it's all freeway so I'll fill it right as we leave.

I'm hoping we can get out of here between 7-7:30 and that puts us there @ 10-10:30. It's getting the kids going and loaded that always puts us behind so I'm going over Friday evening to load the Stroller and anything else.

Meeting at one place at one time is pretty difficult- with so many people coming and going at different times & days. Maybe designate a spot and a couple of times? Ie: The Bud Light stage right when you walk in, Saturday at 1pm and 3pm? Something like that? Just show up at whatever time you can-wearing something Jeep or a sign on your back LOL. I'll bet I can get a local vendor to sponsor a spot. For the life of me now I can't find the link on the website anymore- but here is a bad scan of the map.

(Sorry- I have a disease. Organizus too muchus along with makeseverythingcomplicatedism. I promise not to make a flow chart.)

From Page # 2-
Wait for the event! There will be good deals on bumpers and everything else. Saved a good $100 on my Pure Jeep sliders last year. I actually don't see Smitty on the list- but I'd be pretty surprised if they're not there. (They're in Santa Anna). Poison Spyder and Off-Road Evo are there- more expensive but excellent bumpers.
