Marble Canyon is not a name I know (may have been there), but as you say, anything other than another Cleghorn run sounds good. Where is that canyon?

Yeah, sounds good. I always prefer stuff I haven't done yet.

Ok so sounds like well do Marble Canyon/2n17x on Sunday the 10th and will meet at the spillway on Arrowhead lakes rd...what time?...earlier the better for me but I know some of u guys have a long drive....
Now for Marble Canyon ...we were able to get a Jk on 35s and a lift but with open diffs through but it took some work and required spotting the hole way....so that's an idea of the requirements ...

Arrowhead lakes rd connects hwy 173 and Main St in Hesperia ...the spillway is just south of the lakes ...
Hope this helps ..

Okay, well we will figure it out I went to HV from Los Flores rd back in the day. I see that Arrowhead lake rd splits off from 173 and heads in to Hesperia to Main st...So I have the general Vacinity...

I'm confused now, are you talking about the trail behind Silver Lakes (off Pilot Rock Rd) or White Mountain? They are both good runs (and not too hard).

Ok....to get to the meeting spot...."the spillway"....if ur coming up the Cajon pass...u'll exit the 15 fwy at the 138 and go east twards Lake SilverWood....then turn onto 173 and take that to Arrowhead lakes rd ..turn left onto it...only one way to go ...u'll pass a campground shortly after u turn onto Arrowhead lakes rd u'll take it a few miles and u'll see a big rock dam on ur right side"the spillway " just past that u'll see a turnout ....its a blocked driveway into the spillway ....we'll meet there. Now what time?
Phil...we r running Marble Canyon ....its a new trail for most if not all here on this forum..... & 2n17x
I think DaK is the only one on this forum that knows of this canyon and that is because he went on a run out there with me a week ago Sunday ...

Are you gonna run 2N17X first or Marble Canyon?

That makes it clear all right. I thot you had been talking about White Mtn (3N17x). So we are meeting by the Silverwood dam. Kool. I'm with you about.....the earlier the better. Days are getting longer (daylight saving will help too), but you know there will be those that won't get the word. LOL

I'm gonna bow out of the Marble Canyon run ... I'm not set up for it and you guys would spend more time tugging me through than anything else ... especially having no lift ... I'll catch up with y'all for another run though!

I'm lifted on 33's with open diffs but will have a front locker installed by the 10th. Do you guys think this will be enough to make it through without slowing down the group?

Front locker but no rear locker? Just wondering. Better to have a rear locker if you are only going with one.

How many people are going? I'm thinking about it even though it's a Sunday. Looks like Dave and Kraig said they are going so a couple people know me already but maybe you'll let me join in anyway.

Front for now, I'm not planning on doing anything to the rear since it will be replaced once my tires start wearing down.

I don't want u to miss it either...
I started a new thread "Marble canyon & 2n17x " to help clear up the confusion ...read it carefully because the meeting spot has changed ...it's at Hesperia Lakes to make it easier to Google the location ...
