2nd Crab Flats Fun Run in the Snow

So we did this about 2 years ago I think. We had 38 jeeps show up. Anyone up for this. We can monitor the snow level and i can try my first time back above 5000 feet. Anyone up for this again? Just a fun family friendly, easy run on a snowy well traveled trail. A stop for lunch at the campground with toilets. Last time Stock tire Sports made it easy. We just need a little snow and a good saturday. I'll lead and we will keep bunched up on this run. CB's and straps a plenty so no one gets stuck.
Lets do this.
Bob

Cool guys. We had a lot of fun that run. I'm hoping to do the same this time. If this takes off I'll get them to open up the first post for info.

If you know of straps and CB's that have some magic that prevents getting stuck, I'll take two sets right now. All mine are good for is getting me unstuck after I've screwed up.

Sounds like fun but depending on my work schedule I'll be the first "may be" for this run

Not too bunched up Bob, that's how folks slide into each other. And if everyone just maintains forward momentum, you won't need those straps. Especially uphill. Lol. And depending on the weekend, I'd be up for it again.

Sounds like a lot of people depending on work schedule are interested. Maybe look at first weekend in January so holidays don't really play into it and those people not able to go due to family in town or people being out of town can still join in? I think like the 4th is a Saturday?

It's gonna depend on the snow. But I would love to have a bit of planning time for this. I would like to go up the day before and pre run to make sure everything is open and no gates shut. Check for chain stations, that kind of thing.

LOL Blaine I will check on EBay this evening for those. They are big sellers so they might be out. They sell them with free lunches and muffler bearings.

I'll say put us as a maybe. Depending on the date maybe we can work a property shopping day into the mix. Unless we actually find something before. It sure will be nice to have a place we can all go back to and have hot chocolate after a snow run

We would love to join in on a Gunner run in the snow. I'll lookout for the date to make sure we can make it. I have only done one snow run and I loved it.
