Work is under control and the Jeep is packed. Haven't eaten dinner yet, but it looks like I've got a green light to hit the road early tomorrow morning as planned. See y'all soon!

Gonna bail on you guys. Have next week off and will probably convince my bride to play hooky with me one day to go play in the dirt.

Rumor is that 395 is shut down today due to a crazy shooter/high speed pursuit this morning outta ridgecrest. Anyone that would be coming up 395, check the status before heading out or find a detour. Drive safe everyone

At Kramer junction you have to turn left anyways.

This run must bring the crazies out, remember last year when Mike ran back to town and the swat team had roads blocked and snipers out? Haha, wonder what next years Nightmare Gulch run will bring???

Sorry I didnt get to meet you guys this time around. Everyone did great and I believe a good time was had by all.

Last chance canyon was definitely much easier than I have see in the past. V-notch was nothing and everyone that tried it drove through without a spotter since it was so filled in...not a chance of body damage with the condition it was in. We also checked out Burro Schmidt Tunnel. Overall, a great run with great people.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in at the potluck...it was all delicious.

I would also like to thank anyone that has been talking about nightmare gulch. We talked to a ranger at camp who sympathizes with us as it appears he is in the offroad scene as well. He says that he has watched some discussion about the close on WF, and while upset, everyone has still been respectful. That definitely reflects back well on our hobby.

Anyways...it was a fun time and cant wait for more in the future.

Had a great time for sure! The weather turned out nice. The potluck was yummy. And it's always a good time when you're hitting the dirt.

Love the pic of the redneck spider web shade! I see him in town now and then.

Glad to hear you all had a good time, the community day on base was a big hit!

Is that the V notch?

If it is I'm thinking it needs to be renamed ... the Autobahn sounds good

sure is. I think the bypass is more of a challenge then that.

Ya the v notch is cake...out of the 8 or so rigs we had, the 6 that went thru unassisted with no spotting. Its not even a challenge right now
