10ish works. I usually leave San Jose around 9 and stop for breakfast on the way up.

Old or new? Or could just make it the restroom since that's where everyone stops when they first get there

Yup, those are the ones. Granted for a guy, every tree and bush is a potential bathroom

Hollister Hills can be so damn retarded. 4x4 side was closed for a hare scramble again. You'd think they would at least leave the 4x4 obsticle courses open.

I know man ... I drove all the way to Hollister too and was hella disappointed when the guy told me it's closed for the weekend. I ended up going to Carnegie. Here is the final result (it is white color not mud color .. lol) .... ended up winching myself 3 times in the same mud pit but made it thru 2 times out of 5 (will post the videos later)

Attachment 17941

I like Hollister WAY more than Carnegie because Hollister is like 1000 times bigger.

We definitely need to get together next time for sure! Let me know when you plan to go next time.

I'm in for next time too. I'm 20 minutes from carnegie, but hollister is a lot better, it's just a lot farther. I'm out in Pleasanton.

Next time we check the Hollister Hills site before going. Would have saved a few hours of driving and a half tank of fuel.
