I will probably lead a group through Gold Mtn again. It is registered as a black diamond, but I have gotten a bone stock YJ through before. Very scenic and fun. Since my issues at Holcomb, I am kind of shying away from the big stuff till I can upgrade some wink links.

It didn't work for me either. Try this one
Campground Details - HANNA FLAT, CA - ReserveAmerica - [NRSO]
then select the arrival date (Fri Jul 27 2012) and length of stay (2) and click "Search Campsites".

It means you can't have a donut as a spare tire. It has to be close enough in size (2 inches) to your current tires so it can actually be of use to you if you have to use it on the trail.

Got it, Jeff keeps adding new rules to these events. I know of a rig or two that may have a problem with this new rule. I personally think a spare tire is a no brainer.

For meals, do we want to do another diner experience? There is a cool brewery/resturaunt in Fawnskin that Stan, Sandi and I enjoyed when I bent my drag bar. I am sure that if we call in advance, we could make sure there would be enought staff to keep us dirty Jeepers content?

Pot luck? They have been fun entertaining and easy in the past.

Fend for yourself? Just cook up what ya want for your own campsite?

Jeff

It's a great place to eat, and they have some good brews, not much in the drag link department though! Just don't play pool with Sandy, she has a tendency to kick your arse!
