Great video Doug, thanks for taking it. Man, seeing myself on film makes me think I need to work on the pot belly, yeeesh!!!!

On a quick side note, I want to apologize to everyone on the GM run that got seperated from me. I was seeing a couple of rigs behind me and thought the group was together when actually split apart. Glad we all got back to a single group. The bath after the GM run in Big Bear lake was a welcome addition for the dogs on the group also. Bandit definality needed it, haha.

Talking about your driveshaft, did the company you got it from warranty it?

Awesome! Thanks for posting!

I couldn't stop laughing at the 800X faster part.

Btw, if anyone wants to know how to download Youtube videos so you can keep them for later, there's a Firefox plugin called "Video Download Helper" It enables you to save any video from youtube. I use it all the time. You have to go to the actual Youtube page, then you can click the button to download it instead of watching it on the web. It eliminates streaming issues.

Here's the plugin:

Chrome has one similar to this too. Its called YouTube Downloader:MP3/HD Video Download. This will give you all kinds of options for downloading. It resides in a button right next to the "Like" button on a YouTube video.

When you download it, are they saved in a format that allows you to put them in an editing program?

It's usually one big .mp4 file iirc. I haven't tried to edit it, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

I use Windows Live Movie Maker (free) and you can split clips, so that's probably all you would need to do. You'd have to manually split everything though, it wouldn't show them as separate clips.

Mine gives me options to download it in MP3, MP4 HD (720p), MP4 (360p), FLV (480), FLV (240p). All can be edited as far as I know.

For example: I can download in all those formats (circled in blue) on your GoPro test vid if I wanted.

Hey three things guys,

#1 I have a brand-new XXL t-shirt from Stan at Jeep Performance in Yucaipa, won it in the M&G trivia game. I am not quite manly enough for an XXL so if anyone wants it, it's yours.

#2 I won a $25 gift certificate, also from Stan and Jeep Performance. If anyone is planning on getting any work done by Stan, its yours!

#3 Stan, we were talking the last day of the M&G about doing Lightning Ridge in the near-term future, let's put that together. Labor Day is out for me. I just need to avoid weekends too near to 9/24 (my anniversary) or 9/28 (my son's Birthday).

Stan you're a generous guy and I appreciate that very kind offer but I must have three drawers and two shelf-fulls of t-shirts lol so thanks so there's really no need to go to that trouble. And I'll give the XXL to a deserving XXL soul at the next trip. Thanks again for that offer though.

Yeah let's get that trip going!

Actually, I think Stan needs a new shirt as his got rather dirty and greasy from laying in the oil soaked rocks on Dishpan.
