_____ run 3/31 or 4/1 ... who's in?

Ok, so I know you all are broke and hung over from Calico last weekend, but if you're like me, you're already itching to get back out on the trail. I'm still getting to know all of the possibilities of places to go, therein lies the _____.

SO... Who's up for a run this weekend? Maybe Pilot Rock, or something around there? (I know BillG is in) I can't get TOO crazy, as I am still running stock, but I also don't want to do another bunny slope. Any other suggestions of places to hit?

I just can't imagine having a weekend jammed up in the house. I need FREEDOM!!

Cheers,

Scott

Scott, I would have no problem going (as you noted), but wont be able to commit before Friday. I am leaving today out of town on business and I may be going to Vista to look at a Rubi with someone this weekend.

BTW, The following week is Good Friday and that a holiday for me, so 3 days off maybe 4 if a I add a vacation day....I plan on doing something that weekend for sure.

Not a JK...and yes I would be keeping my Tires / Rims...in fact my whole Jeep. If this goes through it would be great, but there are obstacles...

What day works for you Coop? Rick, I couldn't tell from your wording if you were definitely going to Calico tomorrow, or if you would rather join us at Gold Mountain?

Hey Scott, On the other forum I paid $25 to get an upgraded membership, is that what you did on this forum? Did you get more PM space added? its worth 25 for that alone....

Yep, that's exactly what I did. I just figured that the forum was already so helpful in my Jeep journey that I didn't mind supporting it at all. There are some perks, like a sticker for your jeep and increased PM space, as well as some others. Totally worth it to me, just to keep this place going and thriving.

Besides, that $25 may be the best 25 investment I can make in my jeep. Well, next to PlastiDip.

That'd be a better question for someone who's been around a bit more than me. My first run was not all that long ago; we went to Cleghorn and I'd totally recommend that you do one of the Cleghorn runs... In fact, I'd be open to doing one this weekend but we really need someone to come along that has more experience in recovery, and who has a more outfitted jeep.

Cool, how about tomorrow we head for Hungry Valley? I've heard it's a good area beginners as well as advanced, and there will undoubtedly be plenty of craziness to go around. I've never been there, but really want to check it out. How about 10a?

It's north up the 5, near Gormon. The address is:

46001 Orwin Way
Gorman CA 93243

http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1192

I'm in a 2012 JKU Sahara, white with body color hard top and fender flares, and black wheels. I'll also have my dog Hurley with me.

Looking forward to meeting you guys,

Scott

No sweat Rick, you were due to take on the tough side of Calico anyway. . Have a blast, I'll give a colorful report of whatever we encounter at Hungry Valley
