Jeff, the turnoff off 38 for Hanna Flats campground is close to the turnoff for Holcomb Valley campground Jeff, not sure how long of a drive it'd be on the trails themselves. The actual turnoff for Holcomb Valley Campground off 38 is Polique Canyon Road which is .9 miles west of the Discovery Center in Fawnskin.

Holcomb Valley Campground is a no-reservations camp ground, first-come first-served. But it is big enough and remote enough (20-25 minutes off 38) that I doubt we'd have problems getting enough spaces for the group.

A locker is not absolutely required but it is strongly recommended for JB. More important important is ground clearance and skidplates.

Yes I will probably have a wee bit 'o Scotch in the tent trailer.

You're bringing more of your home brew beer again right Jeff? That was some really good stuff that produced some really satisfying belches.

Hey there Jeepers and Jeepettes, how is everyone? Just wanted to get this back on track. Do we want to stick with tradition and do the pot luck on Saturday night and a fend for yourself Friday? Menu ideas if we do the pot luck???

I'm down for a potluck again. What about a restaurant trip like last big bear meet? Maybe somewhere that could handle a larger group than last time? Just an idea...I'm not familiar with the area so I am not sure what options might be available.

If everyone is up for a little drive, that may be an option. I'll do some looking too, Monday when I am back at work

Ok, I should have my brakes paid off by end of July but just got saddled with a CG engagement on the morning of the 29th. I'll plan to hit the road and rndv at Holcomb Valley by Friday evening.

Hey Jeff, if you wanna help keep the thread clean and up to date, message a mod. They can grant you permission to update your first post indefinitely. I did this in my thread and it's pretty nice. Just an idea to keep all info organized and in one spot

OK gang, our great moderators have allowed my to edit my first post so we can look at updates of attendees without reading the entire thread.

So for a quick look, just go to the beginning. If ya wish to be added or plans change, simply post up and I will edit for you. Also, I will be posting the most current date of any edits.

Currently, we are a fair bit off of beating the # of Jeeps of the last Meet n Greet of 19. Lets get everyone on board and do some great wheeling and camping.

Jeff

July is a bit off yet for me to tell....but count me in. I'll hang with Jerry's group and do John Bull.

If we have a large group again, then yes, there will be a secondary run for the less aggressive Jeeps. If small group, we will find a way to get you around or over obsticals without risking damage to the stock Jeeps.

OK, we are getting a little closer and I like to keep things rolling. The last few events we have had a pot luck on Saturday night and it seems to work great. Spaghetti has been the preferred choice and I don't see a reason to screw with success.

So, I will bring the pasta noodles again and a couple loaves of garlic bread. If ya plan on camping/hanging out Saturday night, let me know what you are able to bring to help make this another success.

I will make a list on the first posting of this thread so you can see updates quickly and easily.

Jeff
