You are on the list, but if you back out this time you have to give up your square light status and drive a Prius.

sounds good to me

in the coors light guy voice - "Dusty Trail Pale Ale - cause there is nothing more refreshing at the end of a long day wheeling on a dirty filthy trail. So choke on all the dust you can, because at the end of the day you can wash it all down with a Dusty Trail Pale Ale!!!"

I am already getting excited. With a couple of runs scheduled, this could be a good time. On the last one with some stockers was great to see the faces of people finding out just how capable thier Jeeps are.

So, for anyone that has interest in going, post up what you have for a rig and if you want a hard trail or a scenic trail with a couple of suprises.

OK everyone. We have 13 members planning on showing. Last Meet n Greet we had 19. Lets bet that and get more people signed up.

Jeff

P.S. We only have a couple of people that have posted up for the pot luck. Is anyone else wanting to contribute? Thanks in advance for any replies.

This sounds like a blast! I have an '08 JK X that is totally stock except for 32" BFG Mud Terrains. I do have a 20' tow strap, front and rear tow hooks, deflators and compressor for the tires but no CB radio or hi-lift jack. I have done a few good trails before, but nothing like that John Bull. Is the CB radio a necessity even if I run with the easy riders? I hope to have rock sliders installed before the end of this month, but I am not afraid to give my Jeep "extra character" either.

The only other questions I would have is what would my cut of the campsite fee come to (not that it matters, just need to know how much to have on hand) what can I bring for potluck and what time should I plan on showing up?

Just to confirm, this thing is supposed to kick off on Friday, 07/29 and end on Sunday, 07/31 right?

Thanks... and as long as everything is cool and my calendar, AKA "The Wife", says that I don't have anything I already forgot about going on that weekend count me in!

First off, welcome to the forum.

Your rig sounds like it is set up nice for the runs. As for the CB, I try to get everyone to hvae one, but if you don't, then we can stick you somewhere in the middle of the group so that if something were to occur, the person behind you would be able to contact the head of the group.

For the camp fees, if we stay at Hannah Flat again, the fees I believe are 24.00 per night. Some members double up on sites to save a few bucks and I am sure they will be happy to post up if they have the room. I think Jerry Bransford knows of another campground that is first come first serve and that one is free.

With the pot luck, do you have a great recipe for something you would like to share with the group? I arrive early afternoon on Friday along with a few other members. Others will wander in throught the day/evening. The dates you have area correct. If you have any other questions, feel free to post up and we are looking forward to meeting you.

Jeff

Okay, I got my kitchen pass from the wife today so I will be there. I went ahead and bought a portable CB radio and Hi-Lift Jack on Amazon today too, so I should be all set up. I will have to think about what to bring for the pot luck and will get back to all of you on that.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

This is going to rock!

Hey guys,

Please add me to the going list. I'd like to do John Bull or any of the harder trails (I'd be up for Holcomb Creek also if it is open by then). I've not had the chance to wheel with any of you before, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm relatively experienced, so I won't hold anyone up, and always happy to help anyone who needs it. (My rig is a well-used, scratched up 07 4-door with 37's, lockers, CB, winch, recovery gear, spare parts, etc.)

I usually wheel with my son, so I will see if he can come also - in his own Jeep.

As far as cooking, I don't do it, but I'll bring enough desert for all (maybe several pies).

Please let me know what campground is decided upon, because if it is Hanna Flat, then I'd like to get a reservation now.

Thanks,
Dave

Gotcha added to the list CALIJK. Thanks for joining us.

On a side note, does everyone plan on camping or do some of you want to come out for a day trip only?
