Any jeep clubs in the high desert?

Just got into jeeps and I am looking to meet others that have the same interests as me. I am active duty military and stationed at Fort Irwin. Looking for a club that is in Barstow or Victorville area. Thanks in advance for any info,

Do a google search for 4 wheel drive clubs in those cities, that is how I found my club, The Gear Grinders 4 Wheel Drive Club in Ridgecrest. Then go to some meetings, meet some cool people, and go out and have some fun. That's an order! LOL

There are a couple of other members on here who are at the same place as you I believe and I have been wheeling with them on a couple of occasions. Keep an eye on this section and watch for events that happen quite often. Welcome to the forum.

I personally know of at least a couple top of the mark wheelers who live in Barstow and one who works at Fort Irwin. There are a lot of heavy duty wheelers in our high desert area. Some of them try to get out almost every weekend and often during the week as well. What kind of upgrades have you done to your Jeep to make it trail ready?

Check out the Desert Dawgs at Desert Dawgs 4 Wheel Drive Club

I believe they may be one of the closest clubs to you, and they are a very good/active club. They helped me out several years ago on the trail when I had some rather catastrophic failures out that all happened at once while doing a short "extra credit" loop after completing Pumpkin Eater at Hi-Desert Roundup near Barstow.
