I live in the San Fernando Valley and would love to spend some time between Christmas and New Years wheeling as much as possible! Let's get a run together! I've never been wheeling that direction anywhere but Gorman.

Hi there, new to the jeep family. Recently picked up a 2013 JKUR. I also live in the Saugus area. Played around a little at Rowher, but if you plan anything in the area and don't mind a newbie taggin along, I'd definitely be interested. Love to learn the limits/abilities of my rig.

I'm near Cooperhill and Seco. Sounds like we have a group ready to go. I won't be able to make it out until after the holidays.

Im not too far from you, Im near the end of Copperhill. I probably wont be able to get out till after the holidays either, but after that I can get out most weekends so we will have to get a local run together.

Hey Tanks I'd be up for a run between Christmas and New Years. Give me a date that works for you and we'll set something up. Of course anyone is welcome to tag along. We will have to do a meet n greet sometime after the holidays coupled with a local run with all the locals. Maybe I can talk to my neighbor who's an editor at JP magazine to do an article on us LOL...

I might be able to do something the weekend before newyears. We were supposed to go camping out to cal city but since the wife and I both have to work that Monday we might be staying home. And I agree that we should put together a local meet and greet after the holidays.

Sounds good! I was thinking 28/29 ish? Either day work better? We definitely need to get a local run going after the holidays. That sounds like a blast!

Lets do the 29th. We'll meet at the Drinkwater flats staging area. We'll take drinkwater over to bouquet canyon. That's where we will catch another trail up and over to Rowher flats.

Parts of this trail are black diamond but any stock rig will make it through no problem.

If I dont go to Cal City that weekend Ill join you guys. I know the Drinkwater to Bouquet trail pretty well. The hardest part of that trail is the climb at the begining then its pretty mellow after that. Thats really the only local trail Ive been on so Im looking forward to checking out some of the others. Mountainneer I will let you know if we will be in Cal City that weekend. It kinda sucks that the wife and I both have to work Monday so we would only be able to go out for the weekend.

There are a few offshoots from drinkwater that have some challenging climbs to em. Nothing hard by any means though. Still a good day to go out local and explore. The trail from bouquet to Rowher has a pretty good little section in the beginning of the trail as well.

Hope you make it. Aaron
