If there a place here in Victorville or apple valley that has what I need? I am doing a big bear run in a week and a half and don't want to go out with nothing but my amazing personality and a couple girls who know absolutely nothing about wheeling Lol. Any advise?
You already have a rear trailer hitch. Go get another insert with a shackle instead of a ball and that's your rear end pull.

Check your front frame ends. Do you have 3-4 inches to put a hook like I have? Go through some cataloges and see what they have that works for your jeep.

Right now while you are wheelin with others just make sure you have water, snacks and clothing. You will learn by talking and seeing what makes sense. Lots of us jeepers carry more crap that we will never use...

I highlighted some of your quote because I'm calling you out.

You know what you are doing behind the wheel of your jeep. I'll go with you anytime.

I agree with everything above. You should always have this stuff with you, but especially when you are wheeling the most important things to bring are the things that will keep you alive. Carry a first aid kit and a first aid or survival guide in addition to your food/water/clothing. Carrying an emergency blanket (tin foil looking thing) and a poncho wouldn't hurt either (ya never know). They are cheap and small so it can go into your first aid kit. Rule of thumb on water is a gallon of water per person per day. Snacks go for high energy items (trail mix, granola bars, etc). For tools, a multitool and a collapsable shovel will go a long way. And finally make sure you have stuff to change a tire with.

We jeepers do tend to overpack. Honestly you can fit everything you REALLY need into a backpack.

If you guys tell me where to stick em I can do it my self. I put on my KC lights installed the radio and did the carpet. I think I can put on a hook. Even if I have to drill I have one.

You can put them on. It's a nut and bolt deal, easy. Go look at your front bumper where it attached to the frame. If you don't see holes because of a plastic cover just feel the upper inner frame and you'll find the holes. If you remember where mine were you'll know where to look.

Did you find holes anywhere. Did you check under the plastic plate? I have a yj so maybe another tj owner can put you on target.

I may have been unclear. Feel the underside of the top frame rail for holes.

If u follow the frame rails out to the bumper u should see a Tork bolt on top of the bumper bolting the bumper to the frame....now under the plastic plate that says "JEEP" on it ...in line with the bumper bolt there should be another one ....this is where u'll attach the hook (s) ...u'll need to measure the distance between the bolts and then go to Napa and pick up 2 hooks and 4 bolts with lock washers that r long enough to go through the hook and thread into the frame....
Hope this helps..

Count me in on the next one of these mini trips. This is the kind of exploring and driving I love to do.

Just totally redid my rig so would enjoy testing my new parts.

I agree! Back when my ex and I were together if I didn't get away from the house I would get CRANKY! So I would drag him out riding! That's about the only time we got along! Lol. The only reason I made it 15 years with his butt!
