I'm still good. Not as big as a turn out as I hoped, but any Jeep get together is a good get together.

Next time, make it here at the beach! Gorgeous, plenty of room for BBQ, hacky sack, frisby, people in swimwear etc. Seriously, next rime, let's go to the beach! Actually...there is a BBQ going on with some other wheelers at the beach at the end of the month..Tri Counties peeps..

Hey all-- log on to this site if you want. Tri-County Off Road

These guys are local; like Ventura local. The only thing is, they don't do a lot of wheeling..but they still do stuff..like this BBQ. There's a core dozen or so that are active and a nice bunch of people. Fun to hang out with, have knowledge of wrenching etc...Their BBQ is tentatively set for the 29th. I just sort of stay in loop of things with them..you can never have too many friends...and especially ones that are local. If and when you decide to join, tell them I sent you OK?

If you haven't noticed by now, I have friends all over from different sites...that's the only way to ensure I'll have friends to wheel with all the time All of us Jeepers are just one big happy family anyways right??

And is exactly why I branched out and made friends everywhere. I didn't need anybody to lead me around; just needed to find some people who were willing to follow....or lead if they wanted (but they never want to) I knew there were like minded wheelers out there who Had to wheel every 2-3 weeks or they'd just simply shrivel up and die. I knew I wasn't the only one

I hope I'm able to make it out and wheel that often.

Lorie, What are you doing to the HEEP? I just finished changing the speedo gear (Wow 5 minutes). I need to change out the disconnects are they are worn (making noise when I start/stop / turn. Thinking about JKS Quicker Disconnects.

Think It maybe time to make her topless, Need to geta Safari top though.

I'm getting rids of my JKS quickers...give ya a good deal I'm going to be checking all bolts, maybe an oil change, some maintenance, putting on brackets for my windows so I can roll w/out doors legally etc....

I just lost my damn bolt off my disconnect today. I think it's a 9 bolt? 8 or 9..

Kathy & I will briefly stop by sometime to put some names & faces together and meet the local WF crew. We'll be on motorcycles (mine a Bimota..could ya' guess?) so you'll know it's us! We obviously won't have food or drink, nor shall we take any.

Looking forward to this meeting, and apologies for not bringing a Jeep along.

See ya'!

I should be there, may be late though as a buddy of mine asked me to work at his shop in the morning for a few hours. Going to order all my parts to update my cooling system on Monday.

Ok I'm here.
No issues with rolling on bikes, it's the people that make the party.
If anyone needs help finding the place give me a ring

Next time, let's do this on a trail someplace!
