Anyone running a AEV lift

Hi folks,

I have read they are not rugged enough for Rock crawling out here in socal. The other systems I have been looking at require thousands and the need to completely replace most of my suspension on my 12 JKUR. Im a newb and at this stage the RK and TF seem to me as an old pos to be opening a can of worms as what will need to be replaced. Where as the aev 2.5
is a complete kit for about 1k.

My goal is to be able to run 285 75 17 approximately and run the trails up in big bear.

Thanks for your help

Gary

you can run those size tires with a leveling kit.

the teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shocks is only $700 bucks and it will be better than aev.

I was told that for a proper alignment including caster and camber for the TF I need 8 control arms and 2 track bars which pushes the price to 2k.

But at this point I'm not sure about anything in regards to lifts, and I'll continue to look for additional info until I make a decision.

Is he a forum member? I'd like to talk to him if he is.
