Sugerpine Mountain Trail. 17.1 Miles. (Long, Moderately Difficult Trail)

If you have another area in mind let me know....IM THERE!

GPS Coordinates.... you can google it.
N34 12.33' W117 21.08'

I'm headed to work now. I'm taking my offroading clothes just incase it's a done deal. If so, I'll change at the Honda dealer and head straight to the trail.

OH Sh*t!....I need to adjust my lights on my lightbar....their all out of wack.
Anyway..let me know. I'll check back periodically.

Im not gonna be able to make it. I gotta take the wife out.

I was hoping we would get some good snow last night. Im not too enthusiastic about getting the jeep all muddy. I have a run coming up in march i need to have the jeep ready for.

that rattlesnake canyon is a fun area to wheel in. I did it stock and had a blast.

Sounds good. Maybe next time. Looks like I'll be hitting the gym tonight instead of the trail.

It's better this way anyway. I cleaned the jeep last night, vaccumed every corner and wiped it all down.

I also need to remove my light bar and paint it black on Monday Night. I'm not liking the chrome.

Where are you going in March? Is it open invitation or a private run? Let me know if it's OK for me to tag along. Take care!

It depends on how many guys attend, but we are going through the mojave trail from barstow to laughlin and back. Going through that trail we are only allowed so many people in the group or some permits are required. (what i was told) ITs about 150miles 1 way and on the way home where gonna go fast. ill talk to the guy running it and ill let you know if i can open an invite.

just finshed putting a stereo in the jeep and added some bling to the rims. (4x4) valve stem caps hahaha should add another 50hp and 2 mpgs

Coool! Just ordered a steering box skid for the TJ. Also ordered some black dye for the fender flares and the soft top. The faded color is just killing me!

Next purchase....a CB.

I'm bidding on a non-brand-name skid plate on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...223686768&rd=1
There is a WARN skid plate for $56, but I;m trying to save every penny I can for my lift kit.

This is the dye I purchased for the fender flares.

BTW...the youtube link you posted is not working.

nope havnt run it yet. I ended up not leading this event which is why i havnt posted it up. but i gotta check if i can invite some of you jeep guys.

now the guys im going with are all young 20s if that makes a difference. we plan on taking our time to laughlin and taking two days to get there. on the way home we can either take the highway or take the dirt road home. if you chose the dirt road its gonna be a fast 150 miles.

We didnt make it out there, one of the guys droped a driveshaft a few miles from the house (didnt even make the trail) as you can guess he's still catching hell for that. We took it back home and ran 3n14 instead. Lots of rain and mud so it was a blast. hard to get good pic's cus it was so windy and rainning.

COOL! 3N14 is always nice.

So I went up to Sugarpine Canyon Rd tonight anyway..even though it was cancelled. I only went to test out my lights new adjustments. I drove up about a mile and i started slipping around. I hadn't aired down nor did I disconnect the sways. At one point the mud was so goowey I completely slipped sideways. That was the point I sdaid to myself.,...."It's not a good idea to be out here alone toinight". So I turned back. I really just wanted to see where the trail started and how my lights are adjusted. I found one of my bulbs are blown. Cheap A$$ Dick Cepek Lights. You get what u pay for. Now I need to buy a bulb and figure out how to replace the burnt one.

I'm trying to convince my buddy to come with me tonight. The one mile I drove on the trail last night made me itch this morning. I HAVE TO GO BACK!

Tonight I'm airing down and disconnecting the sways. I get off at 5:00pm from work. Im there dude! I hope I can convince my buddy to tag along.
