Maybe I mis-understood suggested and required: I have everything listed except the lockers. So is it recommended that I not go?

I don't want to slow you guys down, but I WANNA GO!

If you're saying I shouldn't go I respect that.

I'm with you... But some people can't have A beer. So guess it's easier to say no drinking then deal with a drunk dumbass.

Yup, it's easier to just not do it than try and pay attention to how many everyone has had. Offroading is technical enough as it is...why put anyone, driver or spectator, in a situation that could easily be avoided?

We passed these guys on the trail last weekend in Calico...a majority of them were drinking. Don't know if the driver of this rig was or not...but why take the chance?

If he was not drinking at the time I assure you he was when he got back to camp after that dumb ass maneuver.

Another way to look at the drinking rule is it also is illegal and rangers that patrol can issue citations or arrest and impound vehicles.

Ok cool! I'm in!

Doing some of the harder stuff in Calico this coming weekend. Hopefully that will prepare me a little more for this.

Well, if it's happening on the 28th, count me in. That is pretty much my only free weekend in April. I will be camping Friday night and bail on Sunday.

There are spots on Holcomb where we spent an hour getting a four door Rubicon with a 3" TF lift and 35's out off a boulder and a hard spot. He most def got all of his skidplates marked up... He was in our group and it took us a while to get him through. At the end we had to end up winching him so he wouldn't break anything.

you can expect this trail to be this punishing. even with 37s, you're looking at some damage underneath.

Put Fred1 and I down for camping. I did this trail in the snow last time and it was a lot of fun. If you guys want a leader I wouldn't mind leading.

Here are some recent (November) pics of the trail.

Me and my brother might be up for this run I did it last time with my YJ on 4" lift 33" with no issues. Just not sure if I will have the 8.8 installed by then don't really want to run 35" tires on D35................I am going to have to take it really easy on the skinny pedal..

Well the previous comment is accurate, if you are running 35s on a stock D35 axle with stock 27 spline shafts. Needs to be upgraded. As far as camping, I consider hotels roughing it....

No problem. So of you go where do you stay? Sounds like we are in the same boat as far as accommodations go. I stayed at golden bear cottages one time. Rustic but good place for lots of people to hang out.
