And BTW, I recommend everyone going on this run to bring some zip ties or something to tie your antenna down to if it sticks up kind of high. I lost mine on Snake River, and while Ron and I were eating lunch in the creek, he found another one that looks like it had been there a while...seems this trail may be an antenna eater!

I can't imagine getting both axles and gearing done in one day, so I'd imagine we will be there all day Sunday too. Ron technically has to work until noon Saturday, and then even when it's after hours, people walk in to get work done on their vehicles (which is good)...us being there working on our rigs helps generate more business, so my guess is, we will be at the shop all weekend. You can always call his shop if you want to make sure we're there..

As you know it just depends on how things go. When I lifted my jeep I started late Friday afternoon. I stood in the street and threw the front suspension parts into the garage and they installed themselves. Next morning I started one the rear and it took ALL day long. I had zero issues on the front and nothing but issues on the rear. Hopefully you guys will have no hiccups.

I know right? I will be AMAZED if all goes smooth. That very rarely Ever happens. You should have seen the hell Ron had trying to get my U joint out...finally just had to take a torch to it Came out though

Had a bad stock u joint that was moving around and he didn't want me rolling on that into Big Bear, so we swapped it out for a Spicer....now I want to sell the D30 axles with that u joint in it..somebody's gotta want it!

Stabilizer and shocks are easy, I can show you how to do them yourself. The only problem with shocks is if the rear upper bolts are rusted and break off. The leaking gear oil could be an easy or difficult fix depending on where its coming from. For shocks I really like the bilstein 5100's, they are a little costly but worth it.

Been there done that. Broke a u-joint on Miller last year (with you guys) discovered it at home. By the time I got it out I had booger-ed up the ears on the axle shaft and had to buy a new inner shaft.

Oh well, I am learning.
