Hey Finn, I have friends that will be at the Jamboree. They will also be at the Meet and Greet and I noticed you are too. Come by and introduce yourself. We will be in sites 60 and 61.

Yes, definitely! I'm only doing a day trip to Big Bear, but hanging around for a bit after for the potluck! See you there!

I might be interested in going if I get my lift in time. How difficult would this be with 35s and a rock krawler 3.5" lift. Btw I have a jku rubicon. But I'm pretty new to offroading so want to make sure I can make it without major damage.

Im still working on my YJ, so I'm taking my stock 10a, well stock suspension and tires at least. I also have the unlimited and new to rock crawling. According to Jeep, all of them are "trail rated" using the Rubicon as the standard, it just comes down to use and experience. I'm gonna take mine up to Big Bear a few times before to try her out.

old thread revival .... how was the Jeep Jamboree ??

A co-worker's father in-law does this run every year for the past few years and enjoys it.
I am thinking about trying it this next year (2014).

The Jeepers is truly and adult trip and the Jeep Jamboree is more of a family focus. These two trips have exclusive use of the trail. No two way traffic, very nice. The Jeep Jamboree USA is a little later in August. Don't think they have exclusive use of the trail. Guess I'm not for sure though..

Not sure. Love to go! A few SoCal jeepers from JF have been tossing around the idea to do it early spring. Will see....
