Hey Chuy do you have any more information? This sounds pretty cool! Where is Anza? Is it near Anza Borrego? Is there a start time?

It's Azusa. It's in the mountains north of El Monte.

Basically all you need to know is that it's a bunch of guys with crappy trucks driving around getting stuck in the mud, breaking, and crashing into eachother.

The obstacle course is alright... but other then don't plan on doing wheeling unless you enjoy sinking up to your frame rails in mud.

No problem. Just didn't want you looking all over Anza for a mud hole.

I used to do this all the time back when.
Big truck big tires big horsepower. It was great fun.

I can't see it being very fun in a jeep with a v6 but I'm going to try and go anyway. It's a great day of watching all the freaks.

It's an okay place to go "see others" get stuck and break down in the nasty mucky mud pits.
Lots of skinny pedal throttle junkies so be careful once you are outhere though there's a lot of idiots doing stupid stuff ranging from helmet less quad riders to helping pull stuck vehicles with chains! :-/

Haha, So are you going to this Tito?? I think by then I'll be ready for some Azusa entertainment. Should be a day full of epic stucks, hyrdolocks, rollovers, crashing and kids swimming in the nasty ass river!

^^ My buddy is the one putting the event together! He is involved with the OHV park & the forestry service and he is also the president to the Azusa offroading club.
The OHV park will be open as usual though so if you want to wheel it will be open at 8am

I wonder if it being on the same day as 4W Parts event had anything to do with it..?

My buddy actually received an email from the people that control the Morris Dam in Azusa Canyon and it mentioned that they will NOT be opening the valves to release the water so it basically means no fresh mud which also means no event.

Most of the Azusa Canyon mud boggers don't do trails or rock crawling, those Azusa fans LOVE the mud...lol

I had a pretty good time there last week. Just cruising around and putting some miles on the new Jeep. Took some friends who never even looked at the inside of a jeep. They were blown away. And it was easy stuff we did. Then we cruised to the lake and ate Frito pie at the cafe. Nice saturday.
