Berdoo Canyon

I'm craving Berdoo canyon, to Old Dale road, followed up by Gold Crown road. Anyone want to tag along?

I guess I should have said "When". I'm figuring April 19th.

Sure that sounds fun!
And I'm guessing this is more of a scenic run?

The Pilot Truckstop/gas station....I think its exit 52, from the Eastbound 10. Around 8:30-9:00 AM. Top off, load up on snacks and water, head out (approx. 20 minutes to trailhead).

Looks like it's Indian Canyon Dr. You are going East on the 10 fwy and it's the next exit once you pass the Hwy 62 exit that takes you to 29 Palms.

Are there any ladies coming along? Just asking because my wife would probably not want to go if no other ladies are going.

I have been on this trail i believe we met off Dillon road, and then the trail started a few miles up Dillon, It was a cool trail around the old cabins and up by the national park. Very Nice

I believe that csumjr wants to meet at the Pilot truck stop so everyone can get their tanks topped off and get some food if needed. Dillon is just up the street from the truck stop.

Cool your girlfriend is coming with you, my wife will feel more comfortable knowing is not just guys going. Since we are both retired, we like to do Jeep outings together.

Rally Point: Pilot Truckstop/Gas Station, Exit 120, on the 10 Interstate Highway. Indian Canyon Drive Exit. Tell a friend, 8:30-9:00am. I'm planning for an EPIC run.

I think the better rally point would be the Loves Travel Center/Carl's Jr. Dillon rd. exit 146 off the 10 east. This is where we met with 'Desert Outlaw's' run in January. Good place to gas up and food. 20 min to trail head. this is about 30 min. east of Palm Springs.

Wish I was going. I'm doing the ball joints, shocks and control arms tomorrow. Joshua Tree has free park entrance on April 19th and 20th, 2014. The weather should be perfect out there.

Don't forget that the Coachella Music Festival is on this weekend also, so I don't know if or how it might affect traffic.

So how many are going so far? 4?

You are right...better plan for a little more traffic on the freeway. It was busy out here last weekend. This is Coachella week #2 then Stagecoach the following weekend.

I'm in for this run!
