Yeah, this works well, a pre run to see how winter has left the trail. They change every year...cant wait! Maybe a couple weeks into April...

I dont know about how strict they are, but when you pull in to register they go over your rig and ask you what you have etc.

I think if you make the trail alright there isnt a problem. They are just trying to make sure people that are new to the area dont mistakenly sign up for a real difficult trail...Not the case with you...

If someone needed a buch of tugs because he wasnt locked they might give him some crap...

I have to check my work schedule on Monday to see what June looks like ... it's kind up in the air right now ... I don't want to register just to find out that I have a group coming in to train ... this really sounds like a good time though

Looks like Holcomb Creek is already halfway filled up so I might miss out on that trail ... But if you guys do a Holcomb Creek pre-run mid-April I'd be game ... All my weekends in April are free as of right now

Definitely! I figure a couple weeks after the M&G might be good timing.

I'm in for pilot rock on Saturday and John Bull on Sunday. A couple friends of mine hang out with a group of jeepers so we are all hitting the same trails.

With all this worm weather the snow is melting fast....
Maybe in the next 2-3 weeks after the M&G we could do the pre-run?

That'll give us a couple of months to run other stuff before going back to BB for the fest...

Same here. I'd prefer Marble Canyon next. Best timing for me is 2-3 weeks after the M&G with 3 weeks being better.

If doing BB, what run do you guys want to do first? I'd like to do JB, but yeah, not leading that one either...

How about April 7 for Marble Canyon and May 18 for Holcomb.
I have a route in mind for the Holcomb run, but that is still a ways away.

I'm good with both dates, would also prefer Marble Canyon first since I haven't run it.

Btw, the first BBFF Holcomb run is already capped!

Not sure if the few remember my wife and I or the jeep but I was wondering if my rig was able to do dishpan? 09 rubi unlimited, 3.5 rubi express, soon to have short arm etc upgrade, 35"s
This trail and I go way back and I'm determined to defeat it!
