I saw your build thread, Jeep is looking amazing!! Hopefully I can see it in person at BBFF

JPi is sponsoring the Motino Wash run. For those of you not in a hurry to get thru the trail, and enjoy the company, this will be fun!

Stan, Is this a IE4W run? I know they can't list it but do you need to sign up through Forest Fest to run it?

Randy said I've got the trail, but haven't seen it in the trails yet. I emailed him last night.

When I signed up, Motino was still not on the list...Holcomb Creek for Sat was already full, so I had to change my Friday run from JB to Holcomb, then JB on sat (unless someone I know can get me into Motino).

Anyway, we are READY!!!

Ok, the Motino wash trail will be listed as the Jeeperformance Run. They won't list it as motino.

Motino is a real fun trail, I got to see what we're doing. I don't think we're camping this year so I need to figure out the best day run to do!

Looks like the Spooky run is completely closed out....Bummer as I was really looking forward to that one.
No worries, I have plenty of rock and trail lights.... I'll probably head out within CB range and do my own thing.
Let me know if anyone else is up for something super mellow but fun on Friday night.

Matino wash in both directions is a good days worth of trail...If the group doesn't grow to big that would be a fun time right there.

Are you joining the Forest Festivities or have other Father's Day plans?

I'm not sure yet what I'll be doing for Father's Day weekend. I'll have a better idea after Moab.

Question?

Is Big Bear FF traditionally on Father's day weekend? Sounds like a lot of fun. I can't go this year. My nephew is graduating from Cal Poly SLO that weekend. So I'll be taking my Jeep to Pismo Beach for the first time.

Your lucky the Pismo Beach car show is the 20th this year. It's always been on the fathers day weekend along with Cal Poly graduation and it's a zoo here. Pismo will still be busy, so bring your patience with you

Thanks.. We had a heck of a time just getting hotel rooms for all the family booked last month. That was the first indication it would be a busy weekend. Lucky for us graduation in at 9am. Should leave plenty of dune time for Saturday & Sunday.

Just drive on one of the trails and pretend the Jeep dies, my dad used to do that to us all the time and scare the crap out of us. Lol, eventually we caught on, but let him think we were scared just because he had so much fun

I saw that and thought it was funny. I mentioned it to my wife, she had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently before her time.

Just sent them a E-mail for Dave and I to do the JPI run. There is no way to sign up if your not camping. We will be in BB in a nice warm condo.

Yeah, that is how they do it. The $70 fee is paid even if you don't use the space to camp or eat dinner etc. The money goes to a good cause so its not so bad, but its steep just to run a trail. They should have a second package for day runners. And that doesn't include the shirt
