I just ordered me one of those ez pop up tents. No more poles for me! Throw it and it lands set up! Sweet!!

Figured for as much as I wheel and camp, I should have one.

Keeping an eye on the weather. It's going to be nice.

Everyone needs to bring wood. 40's at night. BURRR!!

Do you have the stock third brake light still?? If so I just use zip toes to hold it to the third brake bracket using the holes it already had in it for te wiring.

That's a cool trail. Nothing hardcore but awesome scenery and neat history with things to see. Be sure and get a pose on the Pontiac out there!

MmmK..so been thinking about the camping situation...

Think what I'll do is get a site to share with an Non-RV owner..it'll save me some cash paying the entire extra jeep fee at $15 for the weekend and Brett or Heather; if one of you want to share the site, we can split it all. Also, it'll ensure another site is saved by me being there..

If we split the site and extra vehicle fee, it comes to $31 each for the weekend..

And, it looks like the weather progressively gets cooler from here on out for the next 10 days. 69/41 for Saturday..You know I'll be missing my 85/65. This will most likely be the last BB run for me this year. Not a fan of freezing my a$$ off.

I always see ton's of lumber along Gold Mountain. Are there any regulations against collecting from there?

Yup, just called. No collecting wood from the trails. But you also can't bring wood in from outside the local area. So technically you're limited to purchasing wood somewhere in Big Bear.

When I was on the crew with MJR maintaining Holcomb, I remember the guys saying we couldn't collect wood on the trials..that was a couple years ago.
