Yeah, we're still on. 9:00 at the Fawnskin fire station, you can't miss it. With just three of us (maybe JeepGuy) we should really book through the trails.

Sweet . . . I can't wait! Let me know if you still have my cell #, just in case something comes up. I wasn't able to get a CB this week, although I did get the quicker discos (you were right . . .they're pretty darn cool). . . if you could bring your handheld, that would be excellent. I'm planning to get a CB but I've only been able to find the one I want online and am not sure how complicated the instalation would be, and with everything else, just haven't been able to get to it. If I could only figure out a way to cut work out of my regiment, I'd free up so much time to have fun . . . any idea what the lotto is up to?

P.S. - I am trying to get a run together for next Saturday to run the Miller Jeep Trail which is up in the Fraiser Park/Gorman area. Anyone interested?

Yeah, you're in my phone. I'll bring my handheld for you. It's more entertaining if you're CBed up. Oh... and installing a cb is easy as pie. I even cut and soldered my coax so I didn't have to wind it all over under my dash.

(this is my last run before the August run, I have a big installation I have to finish up before)

Well guys, Brian's got a bug and the trip's going to have to be rescheduled. We only had three of us going, but I wanted to make sure no one last minute showed up to an empty lot in Fawnskin.

Oh my dear Lord no, Brian. No pictures.

We didn't go TJBunch, otherwise there'd be a picture laden thread in the trails section. No worries, August will yield pictures galore.

Hope you're feeling better Brian, but I still don't want to see pictures.

Sure missed you guys yesterday . . . Brian, I hope you are feeling better.

I ended up joining a group of about 10 Jeeps . . . all Wranglers . . . and went thru Dishpan, Holcomb, and another trail which brought us down the hill to Hwy 18 (not sure what it's called). We started in Lake Arrowhead, so I'm thinking it was the opposite direction that was Brian planning to take. I had an awesome time and felt my heart pound harder than it has in several years! Made it thru, thanks primarily to some awesome spotters, without getting stuck and the only carnage was a bit of rock rash on my sliders (which I thankfully installed 2 days before), wheels, and those plastic bumper dealies (which were nice enough to protect me from that tree that jumped in front of me in one of the rock gardens on Holcomb). Oh yeah, just had the JKS Quicker Disco's installed and my tire somehow rubbed against the sway bar pulling it down and stripping out the bolts for the knob that hold the sway bars when disconnected . . . not sure if I can reuse the holes and just buy some new bolts or if the threads in the frame are shot too . . . may need to relocate them anyway as I don't want this to happen again. All and all, it was a great trip and I can't wait to hit the trails agian soon . . . planning to run Miller Jeep Trail this Saturday . . . anyone interested? Sorry you guys couldn't make it . . . hope to have a chance to go wheelin' with you soon!
